Teach Us How To Pray 10: Grace, Protection From Wicked & Unreasonable Men
1. Prayer of Thanksgiving:
Let’s spend time acknowledging the Lord’s sovereignty and his gracious kindness in our lives.
Psalm 34:1
I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make its boast in the Lord;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
Oh, magnify the Lord with me,
And let us exalt His name together.
2. Our Fellowship and with the Lord Jesus Christ
We thank God for our fellowship with the father, with the word and with spirit.We declare that it is ever increasing and moving from glory to glory,we are on fire and we remain aglow for him.
2 Corinthians 13:14 NIV
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
3.Increased Grace
We thank God that we recognise his grace in our lives, he gives more grace, and we are ever increasing in this grace. We are enriched by him, and we come behind in no gift.
1 Corinthians 1:4-7
I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Protection from wicked and unreasonable me
We thank God that our families and ourselves are protected from wicked and unreasonable men throughout the month of August.
2 Thessalonians 1:1-5
Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you. And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
Affirmations:
The grace and ability of God are at work in me.I am blessed with all things that pertain to life and godliness, for I am an offspring of the Word. Wealth and riches are in my house and my righteousness endures for eternity. I am fruitful and productive in all things because the Word is alive in me. I am unstoppable; for the Lord is my source and my sufficiency, He has made all grace abound towards me and I do not lack or suffer want for any good thing. My month of August is blessed.
