Teach Us How To Pray 4: Family, Prosperity, Increased Strength & Ability

Prayer Points:

1. Prayer of Thanksgiving:
We will spend time to give thanks unto the Lord for who he is and all of his blessings in the first half of 2024

Psalm 145:1 – 3 KJV
I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

2. Increased Strength and ability:

We thank God that we have increased strength and ability in the next half of 2024.

Philippians 4:13 AMP
I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfil His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]

2 Corinthians 3:5 AMP
Not that we are sufficiently qualified in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency and qualifications come from God.

3. Family:

We pray for our family members (be specific, mention their names) We thank God for their salvation, that they are rooted and grounded in the love of God, they are making progress, and all those who need deliverance from trouble are delivered, they are strengthened and protected throughout the second half of 2024.

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.

So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love, be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love.

4. Prosperity:

We thank God that we are walking in prosperity, we experience the blessing only.

3 John 2:2 KJV
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Philippians 4:19 KJV
But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus

Affirmations:

I am fortified daily by the living Word of God and I refuse to succumb to sickness, disease, or any form of darkness. I affirm that my heart is full of Joy; for the Holy Spirit lives in the quarters of my heart. Every good and perfect gift is from my Father; and by the Holy Spirit, my spiritual eyes are continually opened to recognise those resources, gifts, and talents the Father has placed at my disposal. Grace and peace are multiplied in my life. That grace working in me is the power of promotion, unending success, and an extraordinary life of excellence, victory, and dominion. I take advantage of it now and always. I refuse anything and everything that is inconsistent with the Father’s perfect will for my life. As Jesus is, so am I in this world. I am life-conscious; life works in me! I am alive unto God; for greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. Glory to God!
