The Accuser Cast Down & Conquered

Study The Word

Revelation 12:9-11
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.  10  And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.

The accuser of the brethren has been cast down from heaven and he has also been conquered, and no longer has access to the courts of God to bring accusations against you, glory to God! Considering that the devil is one that doesn’t like to be exposed; this portion of scripture is a striking reveal.  Another thing is, I like the tenses that are used in our opening scripture, they are very telling: firstly it says “the great dragon WAS cast out”, and another striking thing about the context is that it distinguishes between “the world” and what the devil did to them and; “the brethren” and how they were accused of him and what the brethren did to him.  So, the world was deceived by him, but the brethren were not deceived by him so they overcame him. “Hey, I have overcome the devil!” Again notice the tenses; “overcame”. So I am not trying to overcome him, or praying to overcome him or fasting to overcome him – I already “overcame him, by the blood of Lamb”. This is the past tense nature of true prophecy, where God’s Word reveals to you the end. See when you study the scripture you’ll discover that true prophecy doesn’t communicate in the future tense. We will deal with that another time.

καταβάλλω  kataballō  cast down –  to throw down a thing without caring where it falls, to scatter down, thrust down, cast down

Another thing that I want to bring to your notice is the word translated ”overcame”; that word is – nikao which means conquered.  Never ever be afraid of the devil! He is a cast out, a cast down, he is a cast away! These are the descriptions given to him by the word of God, haha! And you need to call him by what the word of God calls him.  A cast away, a cast down, a cast out!  That’s why Jesus said, “them that believe…in my name they shall cast out devils!” (Mark 16:17).
Because he is a cast out, a cast away and a cast down. The word of God also says he is a conquered one, but if you are not a part of the brethren, the Word of God says that he is deceiving you already, you are already under his deception. You have to remember that prior to Jesus Christ going to heaven with His own blood to sit on the throne, Satan had access (Job 1:6 – 10) to the throne of God but not anymore because Jesus Christ came and he was cast down. This happened when Jesus went into heaven with His own blood and sprinkled it on the throne of God – the Mercy Seat. And since that day, Satan can’t go with any accusation there because that blood of the Lamb is the only voice that is permitted to be heard in the courts of God in heaven.

νικάω  nikaō  conquer  –  carry off the victory, come off victorious, victorious over, to win the case, to subdue, conquer, prevail, get the victory

Satan’s accusations cannot be heard, and are not permitted to be audible in heaven before God’s throne anymore; only the blood of Jesus Christ speaks of things pertaining to man and God in the courts of heaven.  The throne of God is now the Mercy Seat.  The devil can’t bring any accusations there anymore, thank you Lord Jesus!

The accuser was cast down into the earth, and now he accuses the brethren in the earth.  And when he comes to the brethren to accuse them what’s his fate – conquered!  This means that condemnation is primarily the voice of your conscience, and the source of accusation is the voice of the accuser in the earth.  It is not the voice of God that condemns or accuses.  And what does the Bible say about dealing with the condemnation from your conscience and these accusations from the accuser? It says both are neutralized by the blood of Jesus Christ. Hebrews 9:14 says “…how much more shall the blood of Christ cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God”.  The blood of Christ conquers the condemnation in your conscience and conquers the accusation from the accuser.
‘Blood of the Lamb consciousness’ paralyses Satan’s accusations and sin consciousness. This is also what makes the communion a powerful supernatural sacrament, filled with the power of God. The communion builds in you a blood of Jesus Christ consciousness.  It is one of the weapons of our warfare (2 Corinthians 10:4 -5); and it accomplishes so many things in the spirit realm at the same time as you participate in it.  And one of those things is that it conquers the accusations of Satan and casts down the imaginations of condemnation.  Take the communion regularly, daily if you can, as often as possible, start today. Especially when you’re facing these kinds of pressures.
Always remember that the voice of condemnation is not coming from heaven – it’s coming from the accuser who operates in the earth; and you as a child of God overcame him already.

Pray The Word
Father, I thank You that the accuser has been cast down and has no access to Your throne to bring accusations because of the blood of Jesus Christ. I refuse to entertain the voice of the accuser from today.  Thank You Heavenly Father, for the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus Christ; may it purge my conscience from dead works and self condemnation. Thank You Father, that only the testimony of the blood of Jesus Christ speaks me concerning me in heaven and in the earth. I live by the testimony of the blood of the Lamb and what it has accomplished for me, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Speak The Word
Only the blood of Jesus speaks concerning me in heaven and in the earth. Every sentence of accusation against me in the spirit or in the earth is cancelled today by the blood of the Lamb of God that is seated upon the Throne, in the name of Jesus Christ! I live free from condemnation, I live free from accusation because of the blood of Jesus Christ.
