31 Days Of The Purpose & Power Of Writing

Study The Word

Three Principles of Creation: Writing, Faith, and the Name Of Jesus Christ.

Habakkuk 2:2 -3
And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.  3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Hebrews 11:3
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Ephesians 3:9
And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

You know, there are three powerful principles that God uses, or that God used, to design, create and bring everything that you see into existence. When you study your Bible, you discover that everything that you see came into existence by these three principles!  It was through the application of acquired principles and means.  What are these three foundational principles?

Writing

Faith

The Name of Jesus Christ

These three! When you take these three and start to apply them to your life, you will become a master! You will become a wonder! Your life will become extraordinary. You will wonder, “Why didn’t I know this all this while? Why was I suffering like this, going through the most?” Haha!

Because you weren’t applying the keys! Jesus said, “unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom.” (Mark 4:11)  These keys—principles, as simple as they are—are what created everything and control everything! Let’s break these down as the spiritual principles that the Bible reveals them to be.

You may have never heard this before, but firstly, God designed and then created everything in writing first, which is referred to as The Word—logos. Writing is what the Apostle John in John 1 referred to as The Word—logos—when he said, “In the beginning was the Word—logos.”

He is referring to the Word in written form. Meaning, when you see “logos”—the Word—in your Bible, what it is referring to is “The Writing” or “The Written Word.” This is a special month; throughout the month, I will reveal all these things to you from the Bible. So, the Writing, or the Written Word, has to do with designing, establishing and creating. The writing could be in the form of symbols (the origin of all written language), drawings, or descriptions in modern-day language, from symbolisms and drawings to modern language. That is where everything started first—The Written Word—logos!

Creation wasn’t just a spontaneous “let there be” without a prior plan. How must it look? What must the sun be like? What is the design, the dimension, the materials involved? This was first in design and creation in written form. Writing is design in written form. Writing is creative ability and creativity expressed in written form.  They never taught you this in school; in fact they taught you that it is for communication, expression and writing exams, but the scriptures reveal and teach differently.  The scriptures are the written Words of God that reveal and define the Purpose & Power Of Writing, and the Lord asked me to show it you as He revealed and showed it to me.
Imagine, the bible reveals to us that writing was created by God.  The bible reveals to us that writing is spiritual; and that it existed and exists in heaven, and is an instrument and technology of God that originates from Him in the spirit first before it was given to man.

All this information is replete in scripture; and this month on The Word For Today I will share these powerful, eternal truths with you.  And you can begin to take advantage of them in your life.  “Forever…Your word is settled in heaven.“(Psalm 119:89) How is the word settled in heaven? It is settled in writing! So, before God does anything, He wants it to be put in writing because writing creates; writing designs. Then the second principle used by God in creation is faith, and if you’ve been following the teachings, you’d understand that according to the Word of God, faith is the spoken word.

Faith speaks. The worlds were framed by the spoken Word of God (Hebrews 11:3).

The written Word designs and creates the shape, the quality, how it must look, the experience, the feeling, and what must be in it. Now the speaking—the spoken Word—brings it into being; brings it into physical materiality. It transports you into the physical form and experience of what was written! So, the writing designs and creates, and the speaking materializes. This is the progression: there was the writing, and then there was the speaking, and then in the end, the materiality. This is how God brought everything you see into existence. After that, what’s needed is the authority and the dynamic power to produce: that comes from the Name of Jesus Christ.

All of this is given power and authority to become by the third principle: the Name of Jesus Christ. When you combine these three and start to apply them to your life, your life will change. Things in your life will start going in the right direction. If you stay with those things, your life will keep on going up and up! This will be the end of complaining, the end of victim mentality. You will know what to do! Oh, is there no job? “Okay, you’ll know what to do; you’ll create one.” No opportunities? “Okay, now you’ll know what to do; and you’ll create the opportunities,” using God’s principles and means.  This is the power of living by God’s creation principles!  You’ll be empowered to take steps and actions of divine precision and propel your life to the next and higher level of God’s destiny for your life.  In the month of August(or which ever month this reaches you by God’s Spirit), I will be showing you what the Word of God says about these principles and how they all work together; how God Himself used them, and how you can also employ them in your personal life; but I will be focusing on teaching on “The Purpose and Power of Writing.”

This Month Of August For 31 Days; The Word For Today – I Will Go Through A Devotional Series On One Of My Upcoming Books, “The Purpose And Power Of Writing: The Spirituality Of Writing”.

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, I thank You for  Your Word that reveals to us who You have created us to be and how you want us to live and operate as Your children.  Heavenly Father I ask You for more grace to diligently applying Your Word in my life. Thank You making a co-creator with You, bringing forth the unseen into the seen, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Speak The Word
The Word of God is in my heart and in my mouth  as  unleash the keys of the kingdom to fulfill my God’s purpose and calling for my life. I use the principles of the Word to take my life forward and upward.  I am not waiting for things to happen; I am making them happen, bringing forth abundant life!

The All-Encompassing Name

Study The Word
Matthew 28:18-19

And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Let’s take a look at the magnitude of what Jesus declared here. All power in heaven and on earth is given to Him! Not some power, but ALL power! Hallelujah! And then, He gives a mighty commission: “Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them…” What does that word baptizing truly mean in this context? It’s baptizo, which means to dip into, to put into. So, Jesus is saying, “Go and put them into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” Now, here’s the revelation that will solidify your faith: What is the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit? It is JESUS CHRIST! Think about it, when Philip asked Jesus to show them the Father, Jesus responded, “Have I been so long a time with you, and yet have you not known me, Philip? He that has seen me has seen the Father.” If you’ve seen Jesus, you’ve seen the Father! Glory to God!

βαπτίζω  baptizō  baptizing  –  to immerse into, to submerge, dip into, sink into

The fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily in Jesus Christ. So, when you declare the name Jesus Christ, you are uttering the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! The fullness of the Godhead! What a glorious truth. So now, that means the Holy Spirit Himself responds and answers to the name of Jesus! When you ask in Jesus’ name, the Holy Spirit goes into action, performing the work! This is why that name is “above every name, and at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow!” Use the name of Jesus, don’t keep quiet; even if you say “Shingi, I’ve used it before, nothing happened, it didn’t work.” Who told you it didn’t work? The name always works, ALWAYS! It’s just that you have preconceived ideas of how you want it to work, and when it doesn’t work the way you want it to in ignorance of spiritual things, you drop your head, quit and say, “aah, it didn’t work.” I’ve got news for you, it always works; Jesus would never lie. It always works, just keep doing it, don’t stop.

ὄνομα  onoma  name – name, authority, character

The problem is you want to walk by sight and want to see it work by your sight and your senses and your sight before you say it worked; that is the problem. But you were called not to walk there, as a child of God; you were called to “walk by faith and not by sight!” So keep doing it until you get the results, don’t stop, never quit. Keep saying, “In the name of Jesus Christ!!!” Until there’s a discharge of the power from your spirit; you will know it. Those of you who have done this before, you know what I’m talking about. You don’t quit; we don’t give in; no, never, we are a victor by the power of the name of Jesus Christ! Always victorious. Recognize the power, the all-encompassing authority in that glorious name of the Lord Jesus Christ! John 14:12 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”

Hallelujah! Did you catch that? Jesus said, “The works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do!” He’s talking about you, child of God! This isn’t just for apostles or select ministers; this is for everyone who believes in Him. The Bible tells us how “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and He “went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Jesus was doing good and healing, anointed with the Holy Spirit! And now, He says you will do the works He did, and even greater works, because He’s gone to the Father. So, if Jesus was a healer, what does that make you, who believes in Him and is empowered by the same Spirit? You are also a healer! Yes, you! When they talk about pandemics, viruses, and all these sicknesses and diseases, understand this: To the child of God, to the believer in Jesus, you are the healer! You are not the one to get infected! Why would I need a vaccine when Jesus said, “Greater works than these shall he do?” This isn’t arrogance; it’s revelation, it’s truth. There are more viruses coming, more pandemics coming, Jesus already told us so; but He left us with more than enough to destroy every virus, every pandemic, every disease! Which is being filled with the Holy Spirit! Speaking the Word of God, speaking in tongues, singing a spiritual song making melody in our hearts! Using the name of Jesus, going everywhere healing the sick, casting out devils and raising the dead! It’s our destiny, it’s our time now.

Pray The Word
Father, I thank You for anointing Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit and power to do good and heal all. And thank You Father, for empowering me also with the same Spirit and the same anointing and authority in Your Name, the name of Jesus Christ to do the works He did, and greater works. Heavenly Father, I thank You for the revelation of Your Name, Jesus Christ, and that all power in heaven and on earth is in Your Name. Thank You for giving me access to this power everyday, in Jesus name, amen.

Speak The Word
I am a healer, just like Jesus! Therefore, sickness, disease, and viruses have no power over me. I operate in the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit to do good and to heal all, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! I declare that the Name of Jesus Christ is above every name! As I speak the Name of Jesus today, the Holy Spirit goes into action! Being one that has been dipped into Christ through the new birth, I live by the power and authority of the all-encompassing Name of Jesus!

Who Is Elohim? Discovering The Origin Of Our Image

Study The Word
Genesis 1:1-2

In the beginning God [Elohim] created the heavens and the earth. And the Spirit of God [Ruach Elohim] moved upon the face of the waters.

Genesis 1:26
And God [Elohim] said let us make [asah: fashion, design] man in our image [tselem: shape, image, figure] after our likeness [demûth: model, likeness, design]:

Have you ever pondered or questioned the plurality in Genesis 1:26 when God says, “Let us make man in our image”? This is in connection with the use of the Hebrew “Elohim,” which is plural, meaning “Gods,” and not the use of “Eloah” or “El,” which means God. If you’ve been a Christian for a while, you’ve probably heard people teach that the plurality refers to the Trinity or Triunity, meaning the plurality is “Father, Son (the Word – Jesus), and Holy Spirit.” For a very long time, I thought it was that simple but didn’t realize that it was even simpler and was written there all along.

The crux of the entire truth was revealed from the beginning, in the first line of Genesis chapter 1: “In the beginning God [Elohim] created the heavens and the earth. And the Spirit of God [Ruach Elohim]….” There it is: Elohim = Ruach Elohim. That means every time you see Elohim, it is referring to Ruach Elohim; that means this is the same personality. Elohim and Ruach Elohim are one person. That’s the first part, which very simply reveals that Elohim is the Spirit of God—Elohim is the Holy Spirit. How incredible is that? The scripture is telling you that every time you see Elohim, just know it is Ruach Elohim—the Spirit of God.

רוּח  rûach  Spirit   אלהים  ‘ĕlôhı̂ym  God’s – Spirit of God’s, Spirit of God

Now, the next question would be, what is this plurality about? Because Genesis chapter 1, verse 3 says, “And God [Elohim] said, Let there be light: and there was light.” This verse is where a lot of scholars would pivot, saying, “Well, God said, that is where we get the Word; that’s Jesus, and that is what qualifies the plurality.”  This is because John chapter 1, verse 1 states that “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Yes, the Word was present, but He had not yet been revealed as the Word; only Ruach Elohim—the Spirit of God—was revealed.  So, until Jesus shows up thousands of years later, creation is attributed only to the revelation of Ruach Elohim—the Spirit of God. Even Jesus Himself said “..God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth; for the Father seeks such to worship Him.”  So Jesus saying here that God- who is also the Father is Spirit – Ruach Elohim.  That is why throughout Genesis chapters one, two, and three, all you read is “Elohim” or “Ruach Elohim.” There is no revealing or revelation of the personality of the Word of God as a divine personality at creation, even though technically the Word of God was present, “in the bosom of the Father,“(John 1:18) God the Father being Ruach Elohim—the Spirit of God. Now, this isn’t a theological conundrum; it’s the glorious revelation of the nature and mystery of the Godhead and our origin and identity in Him.

And it is important for us to understand these truths so that we can also understand the true source and origin of our image and identity. Someone rightly said that you cannot know where you are going if you do not know who you are and where you came from. So, this knowledge is key in understanding our true identity, our true origin, and our true value.

Let’s deal with the plurality in question: Why is the Spirit of God revealed here as plural, which gave us the expression “let us make man in our image”? The plurality of Elohim, as revealed in the scripture and given to us by several witnesses, has to do with the understanding that God—Elohim, in His fullness—is seven Spirits. That is revealed to us in Isaiah 11:2: “And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;“. Herein lies the plurality of Elohim clearly: “…and the spirit of the Lord…. the spirit of wisdom and understanding… the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord...”, giving us seven manifestations of Ruach Elohim—the Spirit of God.

נשׁמה  neshâmâh  breath –  breath, wind,  spirit

Isaiah 11:2, the prophet Isaiah wasn’t just blessing us with mere poetic language; he was disclosing a profound revelation of the multifaceted nature of the personality of the Spirit of God—Elohim.  Revelation 4:5 further reveals this, speaking of “seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.” And again, in Revelation 5:6, we see the Lamb with “seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.” This is the reason for the plurality of God in Genesis.

Why seven spirits? Because seven is the number or symbol signifying fullness, signifying the completeness of the Godhead. This profound understanding of Elohim as the Spirit in His glorious fullness changes everything! This is an unveiling of the very nature of the One who created us.  So when He said, “…let us make“—let us who? What He was saying there is, “Let us [the Spirit of the Lord, of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge of the fear of the Lord] make man in our image and in our likeness!” Khayayayaa!

So I was made in the image of the Spirit of the Lord; I was fashioned in the image and likeness of the Spirit of wisdom; I was designed in the image and likeness of the Spirit of understanding, counsel, might, and of the fear of the Lord! “I am fearfully and wonderfully made,” in the image of Elohim.

This truth empowers us to grasp the magnificent scope of God’s wisdom, understanding, counsel, and knowledge that are at work in us through the Spirit now that we have been reunited with Ruach Elohim in Christ Jesus. Hey, when you operate in this consciousness, you tap into the very essence of Elohim, the God of all fullness!

Listen, I’m different! Ayaa! If you ever get to know or be around me, you’d know that this guy is different! Why? It’s because I’ve come to a place in my life where the grace of God raised me to understand this stuff, haha!
I am not ordinary! You can never be ordinary after God reveals to you this stuff!

I can never be put down, I can never be shamed; there’s nothing that can ever put me down in this life visible or invisible—it’s too late! I know where I come from, and I know where I’m going; I know who I am! Glory to God!!

Okay, so a profound truth we uncover in God’s Word revealing the very hand that fashioned us and breathed life into our being: we see Moses, in Genesis 1:26; 2:7, which says it is Elohim—the Spirit of God. And then the Prophet Job, who lived even before Moses and walked with God, echoes this profound revelation concerning man’s creation by Elohim—the Spirit of God. In Job 33:4, he declares, “The Spirit of God has made [asah: fashion, design] me, and the breath [neshâmâh: breath, spirit] of the Almighty [Shaddai] has given me life.” Think about this: Job, a prophet with direct communion with God, stated unequivocally that it was the Spirit of God—Elohim—who made man and breathed into him the breath of life.  He said this and was given revelation of this even before Moses recorded the full account in Genesis 1 and 2.

This is the foundational truth about our origin! When we consider the first Adam, we see the Spirit of God’s work. But it doesn’t stop there, does it? The witness of the Spirit continues with the Second Adam, Jesus Christ. While only John in his Gospel and Epistle is the sole witness that tells us that the Word was in the beginning and created all things, and the Word was God—God being Elohim because the God that was revealed to us in Genesis as Elohim was the only One revealed in the beginning.  The Word was not revealed, and so Jesus was not there.  Many scholars do not understand this; Jesus, the Son of God was not there at the creation in Genesis.  But Matthew and Luke, in alignment with Job and Moses, reveal to us that it was the Spirit of God—Elohim—who is also responsible for the conception of Jesus.  Matthew 1:18 says Mary “was found with child of the Holy Ghost,” and Luke 1:35 affirms, “The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee…

עשׂה  ‛âśâh  made – fashion, make, design

The testimony of two or three witnesses consistently points to the undeniable truth that: it is the Spirit of God—Elohim at work! Moses, Job, Matthew, Luke, and even Paul (who speaks of Jesus being “declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of Holiness” in Romans 1:4) all confirm this.

When we seek to understand who created man, we can not rely on just one account. We need the record of two or three witnesses- “for at the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.”  Do you see the consistent thread? Moses, Job, Matthew, Luke, and Paul all bearing witness to the Spirit as the divine agent of creation, of the universe, of the first man, the second man, and of the new creation.  And He will be the divine agent of the creation of the new heaven and the new earth.  This multiplicity of witnesses establishes the truth beyond doubt: it is the Spirit of God—Elohim—who creates, makes, forms, breathes life, and quickens!  Moses, in Genesis 1:1, speaks of Elohim—the Spirit of God [Ruach Elohim]—moving and creating. Then, we have the powerful witness of Job, who lived even earlier, stating clearly in Job 33:4 that “The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty has given me life.” That’s already two witnesses, perfectly aligning! But God gave us more;

over and above that, Matthew and Luke reveal to us who Jesus’s Father was—the Holy Spirit—Ruach Elohim. And when He is raised from the dead, who comes to raise Jesus from the dead? It is Him again—His Father—the Spirit of God—Ruach Elohim.

Paul, the apostle by revelation, in Romans 1:3-4 reveals that Jesus Christ “is declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of Holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.” A divine act empowered and carried out by the same Spirit—Ruach Elohim.  Romans 6:4 reinforces this: “…that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father...” Who is this “glory of the Father“? It is the same Spirit of God—Ruach Elohim. And critically, Romans 8:11 proclaims, “if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you…” Do you see this? Now I could go on and on but I’m sure you understand this now.  The Spirit, the very same Ruach Elohim who moved over the waters in Genesis 1:2, is the one who created man in His own image and likeness in Genesis 1:26, went on and fashioned and designed him in Genesis 2:7, and is the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead!

צלם  tselem  image  –  shape, image, figure, form

In Christ, we now bear the completeness of His image and likeness. This is our present-day reality in Christ Jesus! Born of the Word of God, we are fashioned and designed in the image and likeness of the Spirit of God—Ruach Elohim! Never forget this! That same resurrection power, this quickening Spirit, Ruach Elohim, dwells in you! Think about the ramifications: the same power that defied death and conquered the grave is resident within your spirit! You were made in His image and in His likeness; that is why He can come, fill you, and live inside you—that is why it is possible, if you ever wondered why or how! This means that sickness, weakness, and limitations have no dominion over you when you consciously align with your true identity and are in touch with your roots, your origin, which is imbued with the Spirit’s power, the power of Ruach Elohim.

Renew your mind; do it today. Don’t see yourself as you did before now. Make the change in your mind today and start living in the consciousness of your true identity, your true image. You are born of the Word of God, made, fashioned, and designed in the image of the Spirit of God—Ruach Elohim. This is a revelation that grounds us in our divine design. We are not accidental; we are the intentional, Spirit-breathed, Elohim image-bearing creations of God. What an incredible, unshakeable, eternal truth and identity to anchor your existence on! There is no higher knowledge of self than this. Nothing can ever make me see myself as less than this.

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, thank You for fashioning me and making me in Your image and in Your likeness. Thank You Father for the grace to assume the fulness of my identity through this knowledge from today.   Thank You Father, for the light of the knowledge of my true identity and origin from You in Jesus’ name, amen.

Speak The Word
I am fearfully and wonderfully made by the Spirit of God, the Spirit of wisdom, the Spirit of understanding, the Spirit of counsel, the Spirit of might, knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. I am a bearer of the image of God! I am fashioned  and designed to look like Him, be like Him and function like Him. I live and walk in this consciousness of my identity and my origin, in the name of Jesus!

Pray The Word

2 Corinthians 5: 17 – 18 KJV

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

Romans 8:1-2

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Speak The Word

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for this new week! I declare that throughout this week and always, I am conscious that I am in a place called Christ. In Christ, I live, move, and have my being. I declare that I am a new creation; the old things are passed away and all things are become new.

The things that have kept my bloodline in bondage—because I am in Christ and because I am a new creation—they can no longer hold me hostage. Failure, sickness and disease, cycles of defeat and loss, and wrong decision-making are no longer my portion, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

There is therefore now no condemnation against me; as I am in Christ Jesus, I walk in the Spirit and not after the flesh. Thank You; I am reconciled to the Lord Jesus Christ and I have been given the ministry of reconciliation.”

Born of the Word, Born as Gods

Study The Word

John 10:34-36
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

This is one of the most amazing revelations of your identity in Christ! When Jesus was confronted by those who accused Him of blasphemy for calling Himself the Son of God, He referred them back to their own law, quoting, “Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?” He then makes a profound statement: “If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken…”.
Think about this! God called those to whom His Word came as “gods”.

θεός  theos gods  –  a god or goddess, deities, divinities, of divine origin

The children of Israel were not even born of the Word, but that simply the Word of God came to them; they were simply recipients of the Word.  Yet, for us, the children of God in the New Testament, it’s an even greater reality because we are “born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever”.
The Word of God didn’t just come to us; we are born of the Word!
What does this mean? Jesus is telling us that if those who merely had the Word come to them were called gods, how much more are WE gods, who are born of the Word of God? We are born with the very life and nature of God!
He was also aware that He was also born of the Word of God – being the Word of God made flesh.  And He was also aware that there are those of us who will be coming on the scene after His resurrection.
This is not blasphemy; this is the divine truth about who you are, being revealed by Jesus!
“I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High” .
Don’t let anyone diminish your divine identity. You are a product of God’s incorruptible Word, carrying His very nature. This understanding should ignite a fire within you and change your perspective on who you are and what you can accomplish in Christ! Embrace your true identity!

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, I thank You that I am born of Your incorruptible Word. I declare that because I am born of Your Word, I am a partaker of Your divine nature. I embrace my identity as a child of the Most High, a “god” in You, not by my own might but by Your sovereign grace and truth in the name of Jesus Christ.

Speak The Word
I am born of the Word of God! I possess the life and nature of God because I am born of His incorruptible seed. I am a child of the Most High, and I walk in the divine identity and authority that Christ has given me through His Word!

The Holy Spirit Is The Author of The Scripture

Study The Word

Acts 18:25 – 26
This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.  26  And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

Here’s a critical truth many miss: the Holy Spirit is the author of the scriptures!  This is why, despite the eloquence and knowledge some may possess, they cannot truly understand or correctly interpret the Word without Him. Remember Apollos? He was an eloquent man, mighty in the scriptures, well-instructed in the way of the Lord . He could speak and teach diligently, like a theologian, or one of those eloquent academics who know every verse . But something vital was missing: he “only knew the baptism of John”.  He wasn’t baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus and filled with the Holy Spirit to speak in other tongues and prophesy; he lacked the Holy Spirit!
This is why Aquila and Priscilla had to explain “the way of God more perfectly” (Acts 18:26) to him and get him born again and filled with the Holy spirit before he left from there and went to Corinth. (Acts 19:1 – 4)  And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,  2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.  3  And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.

These disciples of John who the Apostle Paul also met at Ephesus were also only accustomed to the baptism of John, just like Apollos.  And the Apostle Paul explained the way of God more perfectly to them, Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.  5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.” (Acts 19:4 – 6)

Knowing the letters of scriptures is good but isn’t enough; you need to be filled with the Holy Spirit in order for Him to explain them to you giving you accurate understanding; and from then on the scriptures will come alive in their full power and truthJesus Himself, before He ascended, told His disciples to “tarry in Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high”(Luke 24:49)—referring to the Holy Spirit . This was shortly after He had had to “open up their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures” (Luke 24:45), by blowing the Holy Spirit onto them imparting the understanding of the Spirit so that they could understand the scriptures!

If you are not filled with the Holy Spirit, you will struggle to understand the scriptures.  The scriptures will not make sense. Everything will appear like it is filled with contradictions.  I’m sure you have heard certain people say that?  The book just doesn’t make sense to them; they are always left with more questions than answers.  The book is so spiritual, supernatural and powerful in that if you do not have the Holy Spirit it purposely will give you confusion. Listen, that certain people don’t understand the Bible it is not a mistake, it’s not by accident, but it is by divine design; it is intentional.  It is the intentionality that makes the texts hide the understanding from those who do not have the Holy Spirit in them to understand it.  Such that if the Holy Spirit doesn’t give you understanding you’ll remain with confusion and contradictions.
But those that would be humble to not only receive Jesus Christ but also receive the Spirit of God and be filled with Him will He open up their minds, and give to them understanding scriptures.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, sent to guide you into all truth that is in the scripturesHe will teach you all things and bring them to your remembranceWithout Him, you risk making shipwreck of the Word, misleading yourself and others, just like many doSo, if you want to truly understand the deep things of God in the scriptures, you must be filled with the Holy Spirit. Your relationship with the scriptures must change after today; understand that the Holy Spirit is the gateway to unlocking the understanding of the scriptures to unlock their divine power!

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that the Holy Spirit is the Author of the scriptures and is the Spirit of Truth. I pray that I would always be filled with the Holy Spirit, enabling me to truly understand, interpret, and walk in the truths of Your Word. I ask for divine revelation that only comes through the Spirit of God in Jesus name, amen.

Speak The Word
The Holy Spirit, the Author of Scripture, guides me into all truth! I am filled with the Holy Spirit, and He opens my understanding to the deep things of God in the Word. I declare that I will never be misled, for the Spirit of Truth teaches me all things concerning the scriptures!

Tithe Separates You from Poverty

Study The Word

Mark 8:35 – 37
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.
36  For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?  37  Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

As a child of God, why must you give your tithe and your offering? It is to separate you from the darkness of this world’s financial system! When you are born again, you have no reason to suffer. God has given you enough revelation in His Word for a glorious life. If you are suffering, it’s the way you want it; don’t blame God and ask Him, “Why am I suffering like this?” The Bible says, “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” It’s your choice!  And remember that God has set out in His Word a financial system with financial principles that you need to learn and apply consistently in order for your enjoy the full benefits of the provisions of His kingdom.

Okay, so you say, “Shingi, why am I suffering like this? Is it because of the government and the country I live in, and God can’t do anything for me here?” Well, yes and no! Yes, the government and the country where you live are partly or directly responsible for what you’re suffering right now, but no—God can definitely do something about it. In fact, He already did! The difference will be what you decide to do with what God has done for you to live a victorious and prosperous life. What are you going to do with your life? In the kingdom of God, you are allowed to start small in anything you do, but never remain small, because to remain small is a choice. The trajectory of God’s kingdom is growth, substantial supernatural growth, and that includes your finances.

מעשׂרה מעשׂר מעשׂר  ma‛ăśêr  ma‛ăśar  ma‛aśrâh  tithe  –  tithe, tenth part

Listen, if you choose to ride a bicycle for the rest of your life, God is with you; and if you choose to drive a car, God is also with you; and if you choose to charter jets, God is equally with you. It’s your choice, but there will always be a consequence of choice and a limit to your influence based on your choices.  Just make sure you choose something, and afterward be happy with your choice.
In life, you can plan your growth in everything, including your finances, and also establish a level of influence on the world around you; it’s up to you. Prosperity is multifaceted; it goes beyond just money. There are many poor people with a lot of money, and many rich people with some or little to no money. True prosperity is beyond this and encompasses a lot more.  But always make sure that you choose prosperity.

Some people’s perspective can only see today, some others can only see this week, and then there are those that see only this month, and then the year, five years, ten, and just this lifetime, and so on. They can’t tell you about the life hereafter because their perspective is limited. And then there are those of us whose perspective was enlightened by Jesus Christ, who see in the realm of eternity. We see and make decisions based not on today, next month, or next year, but both in the life that now is and in the life that is to come. Only Jesus gave to man the certainty of life beyond death and also proved it with His resurrection from the dead; nobody else.

That’s the perspective of prosperity that Jesus unveiled to us. True prosperity involves a number of things: it involves salvation in Christ Jesus and a living relationship with the only true God first—that’s spiritual. And then after that, you have the realm of prosperity that has to do with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding—that’s prosperity of your soul. And then you have prosperity that has to do with the physical, which is your physical body, and then prosperity that has to do with physical substance and financial prosperity. If math means anything, then that’s four parts to make the whole. Finances are just a quarter of the whole, but they are also very important, just as important as the other three.

ἀποδεκατόω  apodekatoō  tithe  –  to give a tenth

But it is not more important than the other parts, as the devil would like to deceive the world into believing. Hence the Lord Jesus would say, “What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul?” And then he said, “Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” What is he interrogating? He’s saying what good is it if every aspect of what could be deemed or viewed as “prosperity,” considering every aspect of it, what is the value of having just the one without the others?

You have to make a choice! Proverbs 9:10 tells us, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” This is the foundation of true wisdom. How truly prosperous is that guy who has all this money but has no fear of God? To think that’s enough is the pinnacle of stupidity! And yet the world is filled with these people being idolized every other fool’s day. As a child of God, make sure that you are involved in the development and building of all aspects and dimensions of prosperity, and not just one or the other. Participate in the development of all; complete and total prosperity—spiritual, mental, physical, material, and financial. That’s your destiny and calling in Christ Jesus. Never listen to anyone who says one or the other is not important; hey, they all are!

There’s the fool that says, “All I need is finances, I don’t need God or a relationship with God—in fact, there’s no God, all that matters is money!” Now that’s the biggest fool of them all. And then there’s the other fool who says, “I don’t need finances, all I need is God.” That’s another fool who hasn’t understood his Bible and his assignment in the world that he has been brought into. Never be any of these fellows.

And then there’s the guy who is sound in doctrine and well-balanced; he or she understands that there is a balance between the spiritual, the intellectual, the physical, the material, and financial. Make sure that in your journey you are working on, developing, and pursuing all aspects of prosperity.

Mammon is the god of money in the world. If you’re going to worship him, he will give you money, but there must be collateral. That spirit has swayed the lives of men over the years (Matthew 23:31-35). There is a spirit world and there is a physical world, but the spirit world is more important. It rules and controls everything.

Now, regarding finances in the kingdom of God: the fact is, unless you are a tither, you cannot benefit or participate in the financial blessings of God. As a child of God, your giving, your tithes, your offerings, and your seeds are the things you need to do to participate in God’s principles of financial prosperity; and tithing is one of them; let no man deceive you.  Satan has been given strict rebuke against messing with a tither in any of their financial endeavors. So in the spirit realm, Satan sees you as either functioning with God’s principle or as functioning by your own foolish wisdom. And if you are a tither, you have no business with generational curses, lack, or limitation and poverty!  It’s impossible!

Listen, there will always be a distinction between those that tithe, and those that don’t. Make no mistakes about it.  I have been in ministry for a long enough period to study and watch both specimens. And trust me, you don’t want to be a part of those that don’t tithe – it never ends well.
Initially, it may appear like it is going well, but trust me, don’t trust me rather just trust your Bible, it is not going to end well.  Participate in tithing.
Tithing is in your Bible whether you like it or not; God’s Word said it first. Nobody randomly came up with the idea. The fact that it is in your Bible is all that you need. Never listen to the so-called Christians who like to negotiate and try to be smart with the authority of God’s Word. Don’t listen to those fools.

The fact is, the tithe is an idea that is extensively communicated in the Bible, which any true believer who believes in the infallibility of the Word of God should never have a problem with.  The last time I checked it was the Devil that opposes, dissuades, deceives and deviates from the things that God said or ask for in scripture. (Genesis 3:1 – 6)  Isn’t it insightful, how that the principle behind Genesis 3 had to do with a part that God said leave for me and you can have the rest of the trees in the garden; except for this one.  The Devil came right in and said “Really, did God say that?” The next time you hear someone is talking sideways about giving or tithing remember that.

Nowadays, they say all kinds of things to try and get you to not participate and give like, “Oh, that was Old Testament”, some will say “why tithe, when you can give more than 10%, you should give whatever you want even more than tithe in the new testament”.  All kinds of excuses; stop it, just start with the tithe and be faithful with that; and if you want to do more then do more but just stop talking and do it.

Hebrews Chapter 7 reveals to us three priesthoods-the priesthood of Melchizedek, the priesthood of Levi and the priesthood of Jesus Christ that is of the order of Melchizedek.  That is the priesthood that was before the Old Testament – Melchizedek, and then the Levitical priesthood of the Old Testament, and the priesthood of Jesus Christ of the New Testament.   And it reveals that  the purpose of these priesthoods was to also receive tithes together with other offerings and sacrifices.  And the priesthood of Jesus Christ is declared by the Word of God to be in the order of the priesthood of Melchizedek; if that is true, then if the priesthood of Melchizedek received tithes and the priesthood of Jesus Christ is of that order of Melchizedek; why wouldn’t the priesthood of Jesus Christ receive tithes?
It becomes very clear that only the Devil would suggest to you that a child of God shouldn’t pay tithes; and that the priesthood of Jesus Christ which is after the order of Melchizedek does not recognize or receive tithes.  That is foolish; do not be deceived.  The priesthood of Jesus Christ recognizes and receives the giving of tithes.

If you truly believe! Why would anyone who professes to be a believer in the infallibility of the Word of God that is contained in the Bible have a problem with what it says about tithing? The same buffoon has no problem paying fifteen, twenty, thirty, even forty percent taxes to his earthly government that is blatantly abused by corruption before everybody’s eyes. And that same person says they believe in Jesus, who said on the subject, “Give unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and unto God what belongs to God.” And that fool will lie to you and tell you Jesus was talking about hands lifted high, worship, and praises, and not offering and giving’s to God, sigh. These same false teachers come and try to dissuade God’s children from paying tithes in the house of God?

Listen, you can make excuses all you want; but the scriptures cannot be broken. You just have to decide what part of the scriptures you want to be involved with. But you can’t choose the consequences of being ignorant of the scriptures; those are fixed. So, in your life, choose wisely. Find out from the totality of God’s Word what His provisions for financial prosperity are and make up your mind to function in them. Focus on doing what the Word of God says only, and focus on being a doer of that only, no matter what’s trending or not regarding giving or not giving in the kingdom of God. Because if you don’t function by the Word of God, Satan has the right to do to you what he does to unbelievers, because you are operating outside of God’s principles of financial prosperity.

So never stop tithing; and if you’ve been on the fence as a child of God, start today, or as soon as possible, and never let anyone talk you out of it. Don’t wait; you will never regret it.

Pray The Word

Father, I thank You for the truth of prosperity that comes through my tithing, which separates me from the financial darkness of this world and connects me to Your financial blessings and provisions. I declare that I am a faithful tither, operating by Your Word and enjoying a glorious life free from lack and financial poverty in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Speak The Word

I am a tither, and I am separated from the financial darkness of this world! The financial blessings of Jesus Christ are mine, and participate in God’s financial system through my giving always. I function in divine authority, and no curse of poverty and lack has power over me. My finances are blessed, and I continually operate in God’s glorious plan for total and complete prosperity in my life!

Justified by Faith

Romans 5:1 KJV
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

“Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”  It’s a settled, legal reality born from the completed work of Jesus Christ! Understanding the distinction between Christ’s Legal and Vital Ministries helps us grasp the profound depth of this peace, and how all what Jesus did on cross is connected to us vitally today.
Legally, we were justified by faith. What does that mean? It means God, in His infinite wisdom and righteousness, declared us “not guilty”, all because of our faith in what Jesus Christ did for us.  There can be no accusation against you or your life in Christ Jesus; you are not guilty, hallelujah!  Not guilty!
He made us righteous through the perfect sacrifice of His Son. That blood of Jesus Christ has cleansed you and made you not guilty.  You need to make this the reality by which you live by everyday.
Before we even knew it, on legal grounds, we have been delivered from Satan’s dominion, Satan’s accusations to impose upon your life.  We have been made new creations in Christ Jesus, and made righteous; think about it, that’s you.  This legal standing, established through Jesus’ work on the cross, is the bedrock of our peace. There could be no reconciliation, no joining together in perfect relationship and perfect standing with God, without this. Man can not have a relationship with God without Jesus Christ.  That’s what Jesus meant when He said “I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father but by me.”  That’s because it is only those that are justified by faith in Him, and made righteous and holy through His sacrifice can have a relationship with God.

And what flows from this justification? The vitality of the “peace with God.” The peace of God is not merely an absence of conflict; it is God’s own peace, calmness, and tranquility of your spirit, soul and body, made available to us through the sacrifice of His Son. It’s a peace that permeates our spirit, it permeates our minds, our consciousness because of the effect of the working of the righteousness of God that is now at work in us.  This peace is a living, breathing reality, vitally administered by the Holy Spirit within us.  It is unexplainable, it’s a peace that gives you calmness in the midst of the storm, in the face of danger and threat; there is a calm; when everywhere else, with everyone else there is panic; but with you there’s the peace of God; divine tranquility. That is only because of our oneness with God, because of our justification and effect of righteousness reconciled to the Father through the death of His Son, and this reconciliation is based on unshakeable legal grounds.

Embrace the truth that you are justified. Say it to yourself over and over again throughout the day; “I’m justified, I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.”  Make these talking sessions a part of your daily life; make it a part of you. That is the only way you are going to experience the vitality of your justification, and everything that the Lord Jesus Christ made available for you.

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, I thank You that because I am justified by faith through the finished work of Jesus Christ, I now have perfect peace with You. Thank You for the legal grounds established by Your Son’s sacrifice, which reconciled me to You. I receive and live in Your peace today.

Speak The Word
I am justified by faith, and I have peace with God through my Lord Jesus Christ! The war is over, and I am in perfect relationship with my Father. I walk in this divine peace, knowing that it is a gift from God, made real in my life by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus: The Ultimate Example of Scriptural Obedience

Study The Word
Luke 24:25-27
Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

We are in the last days, and it is more important now than ever whose example you are following. Look at Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God! His relationship with the Scriptures, His reverence for them, and His absolute obedience to them should be our supreme example. Even after His resurrection, when He could have simply displayed His nail-pierced hands, what did He do instead? He referred people back to the Scriptures! Jesus, the living proof of the resurrection, didn’t point to Himself. He pointed to the Scriptures to testify of Himself. He “expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.” This was a powerful lesson in valuing the written Word above even physical manifestation. Why? Because Jesus understood that those Scriptures were the inspired prophecies of God, written words that He Himself was destined to fulfill.

2 Peter 2:21 says, “For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:”

Look at the relationship that Jesus Christ had with the written Word, even though He Himself was the Word made flesh. He understood that He was the Word made flesh, but He always chose to direct people to the written Word as opposed to directly pointing towards Himself. Why? That’s because the words contained in the books belonged to the Father. They were His Father’s Words; He said, “I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me” (John 5:30).

What and where was this will of the Father?

It was in the written Word, the Scriptures contained in the Law, the Prophets, and the Psalms. Such that even after His resurrection, He kept referring and pointing everyone to the Scriptures, and like we see in our opening verse: “And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.” This is the example that every child of God and follower of Jesus Christ should be emulating. Why would any believer in Jesus Christ want to do things differently?

And then, when you look at Philippians 2 from verse 5, where it says: “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:”

The Word here reveals to us that Jesus humbled Himself and became obedient; that’s striking. Firstly, what was His obedience to? The obedience of Jesus could only be measured by His strict adherence to “all the scriptures the things concerning himself,” those things that were written concerning Him—meaning the obedience of Jesus Christ was to the written Word—obedience to the Scriptures. Secondly, we also see from this verse that before God, humility can only be measured by your submission to the written Word, the Scriptures.

That is why it is imperative for every child of God to know and understand the Word of God for themselves.

What an example Jesus left us; when people abandoned Him, all Jesus had were the things written concerning Him in the Scriptures. And the Bible declares that because of this obedience—obedience even unto death—God highly exalted Him and gave Him a name above every name! This is where promotion comes from. His promotion, His exaltation, came from His unwavering obedience to the voice of the Scriptures. Are you depending on the Scriptures the way Jesus did? When challenges arise, do you refer back to what is written? There are things that have been written in the Word concerning you; what are those things? There are the things written in the epistles. Do you know them? If not, find out about them and submit yourself to them. Never let anyone talk you out of the efficacy and the importance of the written Word in your life and in your relationship with God; for your relationship with the written Word of God is the only thing that validates and measures your relationship with God. What Jesus showed us in this example in our opening verse is that one cannot have a relationship with God outside of the written Word. This is not a suggestion; it is the only example of the One who perfectly succeeded in it – our Lord Jesus Christ!

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the perfect example of Jesus Christ. I pray that the mind of Christ concerning the scriptures would be in me. Heavenly Father, help me to depend on Your written Word, to reverence it, and to be obedient to its voice, just as Jesus was. May my life be a testimony to the power of Your Word in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Speak The Word
I follow the example of Jesus Christ! My obedience is to the voice of the scriptures, just as Jesus was. I trust in the written Word of God to validate my life and guide my steps. Because of my doing of the Word, I declare that promotion and exaltation are mine perpetually!

The Parakletos, Activated by Praying In Tongues

Study The Word

John 14:26
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

The Lord Jesus Christ introduced us to the ministry of the Holy Spirit in us, and He described the Holy Spirit as “the Comforter.” Now, the Greek word for Comforter here is Parakletos. And Jesus said this Parakletos is exactly like Him, “another one exactly like me.” And this Parakletos is none other than the Holy Spirit. The word Parakletos is rich with meaning. It means Comforter, Strengthener, Counselor, Advocate, Standby, Teacher, and Helper. All seven of these powerful ministries are embodied in the ministry that the Holy Spirit was sent to fulfill in us; and not only that, the Lord Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to do this in us forever. That is incredible! Forever!

As our Teacher, the Holy Spirit teaches us all things and brings all things to our remembrance. There are no words that could ever describe how the ministry of the Holy Spirit has been of benefit to me all these years. What I can advise any child of God is to genuinely recognize Him and establish a real relationship with Him. He will beautify your life.

παράκλητος  Parakletos Comforter  –   Counselor, Advocate, Standby, Strengthener, Teacher, Helper, Comforter

Now, here’s where it gets even more truly exciting! Let me show you this: John 14:26, our opening scripture where the Holy Spirit is introduced to us as the Comforter; the Apostle Paul went on to reveal to us how this ministry of the Holy Spirit as our Comforter will be practically fulfilled in us, glory!
In 1 Corinthians 14:3-4 he says, “But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.”

Now, don’t get distracted with the wordplay here; all he is telling us is prophesying and speaking in tongues do the same thing. Prophecy edifies, exhorts, and comforts the people the prophesier is speaking to, and speaking in tongues does the exact same thing inside of the person who is speaking the tongues, you get it? If you don’t, read the verse over and over again; you will see it, okay. Remember, there are different levels of prophecy – there’s prophecy which has to do with the five-fold ministry office gift of a prophet which has to do with foretelling past, present, and future the word of God regarding a person, a place, or a thing; and then there’s prophecy which is for every child of God that involves speaking forth – forthtelling the Word of God, and this usually involves the revealed Word of scripture that is being spoken.
That’s forthtelling; and this level of prophecy is for every Spirit-filled child of God; it’s not just for the office of the prophet. In the context of 1 Corinthians 14, he’s referring to the forthtelling of scripture, and not the prophet’s office level of foretelling. The wisdom, however, can also be applied to the ministry of the office gift of a prophet as well, but this is not the subject matter that the Apostle Paul was addressing here; you get it. I trust that you understood that; and now with that contextual foundation in place, let’s get back to the ministry of the Holy Spirit in us; it will all come together now.

παράκλησις  paraklesis  exhortation  –  consolation, counsel, advocacy, strengthening, teaching, admonition, help, assistance, support, encouragement

Now, going back to our opening verse and the Holy Spirit introduced to us as “Comforter,” and now the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 14:3 expounds on this using another interesting word translated “exhortation” which is related to Parakletos – Comforter. And that word is the verb form, paraklesis, which is the actual activation of all those “Comforter – Paraklesis” seven ministries that the Holy Spirit was sent to fulfill within you! Hallelujah!

This is incredible. So remember we said earlier that “prophesying and speaking in tongues do the same thing. Prophecy edifies, exhorts, and comforts the people the prophesier is speaking to, and speaking in tongues does the exact same thing inside of the person who is speaking the tongues.” That means when you’re forthtelling, preaching the word of God, and there’s edification, exhortation, and comfort to the people by the ministry of the Holy Spirit; as you speak in tongues, the edification, exhortation, and comfort happens within you by the ministry of the same Holy Spirit! That is what the Apostle Paul reveals to us in 1 Corinthians 14, verses 3 and 4.

Meaning, when you speak in tongues, you are activating the ministry of the Comforter within your spirit! Haha! That’s why he said, “he that speaks in an unknown tongue edifies himself!” And not only that, he does it unto a personal “edification, exhortation, and comfort!” within himself, glory to God!

So when you’re spending time speaking, praying in other tongues, you are releasing exhortation – paraklesis from “alos Parakletos” – the Comforter, the Holy Spirit.

Are you feeling discouraged, sad, or having depressive thoughts? Is fear oppressing you or are you experiencing symptoms of timidity? Are you feeling like you need strength? What you need is paraklesis from alos Parakletos! You don’t need to run from one friend to the other in a panic for advice when you’re looking for counsel. What you need is to get into your room, sit down, and start speaking in other tongues!  Sit down with praying in tongues and place a demand on the ministry of the Spirit of God in you; sit down with it until there is a change.
You need comfort from the Comforter, counsel from the Counselor – the Parakletos! The Holy Spirit, He is your wonderful Counselor, and He is within you, and speaking in tongues activates His counsel to flow. If you speak in tongues long enough, you will know what to do, you will know where to go! You will have strength!
This is how you draw water from the wells of salvation, rivers of living water flowing from your belly. Speaking in tongues activates the Holy Spirit’s multi-faceted ministry in and through you! Are you stuck in your life needing help? He is your Helper; speak in tongues and activate the help that He was sent to give you for your life. Take advantage of this ministry of the Holy Spirit that is within you. No child of God has any business living a down life; not with this at your disposal; what depression? What discouragement? No, not for you!
What you need is paraklesis from alos Parakletos – your Comforter, Counselor, Standby, Teacher, Helper, Advocate and Strengthener.

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit, my Parakletos – my Comforter, Intercessor, Counselor, Advocate, Standby, Teacher, and Helper. I thank You that as I fellowship with You speaking in tongues, I am activating the full seven-fold ministry of the Holy Spirit within me, receiving comfort, counsel, and help in every area of my life in Jesus’ name, amen.

Speak The Word
The Spirit of God, my Parakletos, is at work within me! He was sent to be with me forever! As I pray in unknown tongues, I release all the paraklesis that I need from the Holy Spirit – my Parakletos. I receive divine comfort, wise counsel, powerful intercession, divine insight in teaching, and supernatural help. My Helper is activated within. My life is empowered by the Holy Spirit!

The God of Peace: Your Source of All Provision

Study The Word

Hebrews 13:20 – 21 AMPC

Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament).   21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages). Amen (so be it).

Today, make sure you take a moment in your day to thank “The God of Peace”!   Thank Him for your life, thank Him for bringing you this far.  You may not be where you desire or planned to be, you may not have accomplished all the things that you would have wanted to; but look at how far He has brought you.  Look at how God has preserved you, and kept you, even in these perilous times where there’s all kinds of evil going on the world around you.  Have a grateful heart even if you’re thinking “Shingi, it’s been very difficult and I’m barely making it”.  Yes, that might be the truth of your current experience but always remember that no-matter where you find yourself today it could’ve been much worse; and no-matter how things are at the moment good or bad it can only get better; so always give thanks.  In everything give thanks.
The Amplified Classic Version reveals Him as “the Author and the Giver of peace.” But He’s not just the Giver of peace; He’s the Giver of everything good you need to fulfill His will and your destiny! He’s the God who equips you with everything good so that you may carry out His will!

Imagine that! God thought about you! He thought about the life you were going to live, the experiences you’d have, the things you’d face and deal with. As a loving Father, He prepared these things for us, knowing that through predestination and us coming into Christ, we would come into contact with this life-changing information! He prepared ahead of time so we could prosper and live a prosperous and peaceful life in this generation!

καταρτίζω  katartizo  strengthen  –  repair, restore, mend to perfection and completion, equip to perfection, give everything needed for perfection and completion

The word “perfect” (KJV) or “strengthen” (AMPC) in Hebrews 13:21, katartizo – means to “mend to perfection and completion,” to “equip to perfection,” and to “give you everything that you require”! It means to “repair to completion,” to “fit out or equip to Perfection!” So, when you declare, “I am equipped to perfection,” you are speaking God’s will over your life!

This God of Peace is actively working in you, accomplishing that which is well-pleasing in His sight! He is repairing you to perfection, to completion, wherever you are lacking in your life!  He is restoring you to perfection today so you can fulfill what is well-pleasing in His sight successfully!  Have that expectation of Him as you acknowledge Him, and give thanks to Him today; knowing that He is going to make things better.  It can not get worse; He’s the God that is your Father who will restore you to perfection. It can not get worse; He will mend your heart, He will repair and restore your life; it can not get worse.  He is your God – the Creator of the universe, He is your God.

He provides all the finances you need today, all the resources, all the circumstances, all the training, all the wisdom, all the knowledge, all the people!  He is upholding it all, and He is your God and He knows you by name.  He loves you.  He provides for you every favorable circumstance you need to succeed, to be joyful, to be healthy and sound, and to be preserved and protected!  These are not just some random promises or words, this is His truth.  Never again say “I don’t have everything I need”, ever!  From today, the Lord will provide for you! Doors will open!  He will make what was difficult easy for you!  He will make you stronger, and what ever and where ever it is that you are right now, remember that He is right there with you.  He has never left, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.  He is with You for ever. So thank Him for you life.

Hearing The Voice Of God

Study The Word

2 Samuel 23:2
The Spirit of the Lord spake by me, and His word was on my tongue.

Let’s delve into what David actually said here: “The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me, and His word was on my tongue!” Wow. I remember discovering this portion of scripture many years ago. As I was growing in my faith, one of the things that mattered most to me was being able to hear God speak and distinguish between my own thoughts, my conscience, and the voice of God. This dilemma troubled me for years until the Holy Spirit directed me to this passage. Oh, how my life changed!
I’d always heard spiritual leaders say, “If you want to learn how to hear the voice of God for yourself, then you need to study the Word of God more.” I was already studying the Word extensively, but I still struggled to discern God speaking to me. You can imagine the frustration; “study the Word more” sounded good, but practically speaking, how did it work? I needed to hear God “now-now, man of God” because I couldn’t tell if it was God or just my own mind.

דּבר (dabar) – to speak, declare, converse, command

That was until I found David’s revelation, which delivered the secret to practically hearing God’s voice for myself and experiencing a prophetic life. It changed my life forever. I didn’t waste any time; my journey of many years, which felt so long, had finally come to an end, glory to God! I immediately started putting it into practice. This was King David’s secret, what made him who he was, and now I had it.
So, what is it? Let me share it with you, so you don’t have to go through the long journey of frustration I did. You see, David knew that because he was anointed, every time he wanted to hear God, all he had to do was take the revealed Word—the scriptures—and start speaking them. When he had the revealed Word on his tongue long enough, the Spirit would speak through him and reveal an unrevealed Word. It’s called working from the known, stirring up the known, in order to stir up inspiration to hear the unknown. Do you get it? Oh, I pray you do!

So, what is the known? The known is the Word of God that has already been revealed, the one that is in the scriptures; the revealed, known Word of God that is in your Bible. You take that and then you put it in your mouth, on your tongue. That’s why God said to Joshua, “This book of the law shall not depart from out of your mouth, but you shall meditate (hagar: roar)” (Joshua 1:8). Joshua, you must roar this revealed Word out of your mouth, day and night. Why? Because God was teaching him the principle, the secret: as long as Joshua had the revealed Word in his mouth, on his tongue, that revealed Word would generate the atmosphere and sensitize his spirit to hear the Voice of God! From there, he would know what to do; he would make his way prosperous because he would be consistently positioned and tuned into the frequency to hear the Voice of God. Aha!

Now, that’s King David and Joshua. Can I show you the Lord Jesus Christ operating in the same way? When you go to Luke chapter 4, from verse 3, the devil is speaking his nonsense to Jesus, remember? And all the while, Jesus Christ, who is the Word made flesh, is responding by saying, “It is written… it is written… it is written…” And then suddenly, in verse 12, “…Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.”
Do you see it?  Jesus Christ Himself had the written Word on His tongue until the Spirit of God “said“.  That’s because the Spirit of God had now “said”, and was now “speaking by him and his word was on his tongue”.  This what the Spirit of God is saying NOW!  And what was the result? The Bible says the devil left him. Go and check it out in your Bible.

Are you at a place in your life where you’re saying, “I haven’t heard the Voice of God in a long time”? Or are you struggling to hear the leading of God’s Voice or to get direction? Listen, the problem might be that you have too much of men’s words on your tongue. What you need, child of God, is to have the Word of God on your tongue!

מלּה מלּה (millah milleh) – word, speech, utterance

Are you always finding yourself stranded, not knowing or not being sure as to what God is saying to you? Which job to choose from five options? Which way to go, or whether you should go or stay? Turn left or turn right? The blue one or the pink one? Or the tall one or the short one? And you’re searching for the leading of God’s Voice. What you need is to take the written Word and put it in your mouth.
David, whose life was incredibly prophetic, tells us the secret: “The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me, and His word was on my tongue.” He was a speaker of the scriptures, a talker of the scriptures. This isn’t just about reading; it’s about speaking, declaring out loud to yourself the written Word of God day and night. When you do this, you have tuned into the frequency to hear the Voice of God. And if you do this long enough—sometimes immediately, sometimes God will speak a short while later, maybe even a day or so—it doesn’t matter; you keep coming back to do it until you hear God speak.

Another thing you need to understand is that God is always speaking, but you need to learn how to listen. Secondly, you need to learn the language and ways in which He speaks. What I’m teaching you here will develop you in both of these areas. When we talk about the ways He speaks, I’m talking about how at times the Spirit of God will take over your tongue and put His answer or His direction for you in your mouth (what you’re accustomed to as a prophetic word). Sometimes, while you’re busy speaking the Word, He’ll show you a picture. Sometimes you’ll just have a strong, inaudible prompting directing you in a particular direction (and it’s usually beyond what you’d do of yourself). At other times, if you’re being very stubborn about hearing what He’s been telling you, or you need some encouragement with it but you won’t listen, He’d send someone to confirm the message prophetically, and there are several ways He does that. There are various other multifaceted ways that the Holy Spirit will communicate with you; there’s no one way, but one thing is sure: He’s always speaking. And the other thing that is also sure is that you need to put this teaching into practice if you’re going to hear Him.

That’s how I always know what God wants me to do, when, and how. I am never caught by surprise regarding anything that pertains to me, my life, or the people around me who are connected to me because I’m always in the atmosphere. My wife will tell you, maybe we are praying or studying the Word, or I’m teaching the Word about random stuff, and the Spirit of God will interrupt and communicate. And I’ll say to her, “The Spirit of God has just shown me or said this, that, and the other.” This is happening frequently, if not daily; the Voice of God is continuously speaking to me and speaking through me. This is also now working in her life and relationship with the Spirit of God too, as I’ve been able to teach and transfer this knowledge to her as well. And she’s growing in it, and you can begin that journey too because I have shared with you the practical keys that you can begin to put to work and start this exciting journey of hearing the Voice of the Spirit of God for yourself. This is the life that we’ve been called to. But it was not always that way for me, just as it might be that way for you too, but for me, that was only until, like King David, I learned how to put the written Word on my tongue, and everything changed. Start practicing the same and stick with it, and see what will start happening in your life.

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, I thank You Word spoken by King David: that as Your Word is on my tongue, Your Spirit speaks by me. Father I thank You for Your increased grace and capacity today, to have Your scriptures constantly on my tongue, cultivating in and around me an atmosphere for Your Voice where my heart is conditioned and tuned in to hear Your Voice, receive Your instruction, and walk in Your divine direction, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Speak The Word
The Spirit of the Lord speaks by me because His Word is on my tongue! I am a talker of the scriptures. I hear the voice of God from within my spirit, guiding me into all truth, all reality and direction. The Word of God on my tongue imparts divinity, life, and power into every aspect of my life and every fiber of my being!

Living Beyond What You See

Study The Word

2 Corinthians 4:18 KJV
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

If you want to live a truly triumphant Christian life, you must shift your focus from the seen to the unseen! This is the life of faith that every child of God is born into. The Word of God clearly states that the things we see are temporal – they are subject to change, fleeting, and temporary. But the things which are not seen, which are the things of the Word of God, these are eternal!

These “unseen” things? Primarily refer to what the Word of God says about us in Christ Jesus; and these are eternal, the very eternal spiritual substances that framed the very worlds we inhabit, live in and see today. Through faith, we understand that everything we now perceive physically was created by something that did not appear – that is by the powerful, spoken Word of God!

So, does this very same Word of God say you are healed? Then keep saying that you are healed, no matter what is going on in your body.  Does the Word of God say that you are rich? Does the Word say that you are excellent? Does the Word say you are gifted? Or blessed?  Then keep saying that you are rich, gifted and blessed, no matter what’s going on in your bank account. Why? Because the Word of God is more real and more powerful than your current experience.  Don’t stop speaking and believing  what the Word of God says about you, because “through faith we understand that the world’s were framed by the Word of God, such that things which are seen were not made by things which do appear”. (Hebrews 11:3)

What is faith? In our teaching series “The  Faith Of The Word Of God” we got to define faith according to what the Word of God says it is.  Faith is the present continuous state of spoken persuasion.  Which is living everyday according to the revealed Word spoken, and not what you see or are experiencing.  This is the life of a child of God.  The life modelled to us by the father of faith Abraham.  What kind of life are you living? Is it a life of faith? Or is it an ordinary life led by the status quo and circumstances around you?

Many of God’s children struggle because they are continually looking at their problems, at their circumstances, at what their physical senses tell them. But the Bible admonishes us to not look at the seen things. This is a deliberate choice, our very act and display of faith! This is where we live, where we’ve been called to live our lives.

When you grasp the concept of “faith as substance and evidence of things not seen,” you understand that the unseen Word of God is more real and more powerful than any temporary, seen circumstance. Your faith gives substance to that unseen Word, this will inturn bring it into manifestation in your life.

This is the pathway to a consistent life of victory. Don’t be swayed by what you see in the natural realm. Choose to fix your eyes on the eternal, unseen realities of God’s Word and His promises. As you do, you will empower your faith to bring those unseen realities into your present experience, transforming every challenge into a testimony of triumph!

Pray The Word

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the revelation that the unseen things are eternal and more powerful than the seen. I pray for the grace to constantly fix my eyes on Your eternal Word, rather than on temporal circumstances. Help me to walk by faith, not by sight, giving substance to Your unseen realities in my life, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Speak The Word

I live in the unseen reality of God’s Word! I am not moved by what my physical eyes perceive, for I know that the unseen is eternal and governs the seen. The Word of God is in my heart and in my mouth always and my faith gives substance and evidence to God’s Word in my life, bringing it into manifestation. I walk in triumph, always looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith!

The Release of God’s Power Within

Study The Word
Acts 2:4
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

You know, we’ve been talking about the incredible experience of being filled with the Holy Spirit. And here’s something crucial: when people got filled with the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts, they began to speak in

other tongues! This is not just a side note; it’s a powerful, undeniable evidence!  What is the importance of speaking with other tongues? What does speaking in tongues do for a Christian? I tell you this: until a Christian, a believer, is speaking in tongues, they haven’t yet fully lived out the true Christian life! Yes, they’ve been born again, that legality of salvation is established in their human spirit, and they have a new spirit in them, glory to God! But for that reality, that life, to begin to be expressed out, that person needs to not only receive the Holy Spirit and be filled, but they now have to speak in other tongues! Speaking in tongues is mandatory for every believer in Jesus Christ!

ἀποφθέγγομαι   apophtheggomai  utterance  –  to speak out, speak forth, pronounce elevated discourse, speak forth, utterance

Jesus Himself said it in Mark chapter 16, verse 17: “And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name they shall speak with new tongues!” This is not an option, my friend, it’s a sign! A witness! And why is it so important? Because speaking in tongues releases the power of the life of God that is in your human spirit! Until you start speaking in tongues, the power, the reality, the ability for you to live out that life that has been deposited in your human spirit – it is not working yet!   You are born again, you have believed in Jesus Christ, but for you to begin to live out that life and to experience the power of being a child of God, you have to receive the Holy Spirit and start speaking in other tongues! Acts chapter 1, verse 8 says, “But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses.” What does it mean to be a witness? It means you shall have the evidence! A witness provides evidence, brings out the truth, the reality of what has happened. You cannot begin to produce evidence of the authenticity and reality and truth of your salvation in Christ Jesus without receiving the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues! Speaking in tongues is what brings out that life that has been deposited in your human spirit! Hallelujah!

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit and the ability to speak in tongues. I recognize that speaking in tongues is essential for releasing the power of Your life within me and for experiencing the fullness of my Christian walk. I pray for a greater expression of this spiritual gift in my life.

Speak The Word
I am filled with the Holy Spirit and I speak in other tongues! My tongue is released to bring forth the power of God’s life within me! I am a witness of Christ’s salvation, producing evidence of His reality in my life through the power of the Holy Spirit!

Fulfillment: The Product Of Your Words

Study The Word
Proverbs 18:20
A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.

Are you dissatisfied in life? Are you unfulfilled as a child of God? I’ve got news for you: the only solution to this is the infilling of the Holy Spirit through speaking in other tongues and speaking to yourself “in psalms hymns and spiritual songs”.  If you are constantly filled with the Holy Spirit, speaking in other tongues, “speaking to yourself in psalms hymns and spiritual songs” there can be no dissatisfaction in your life! That will be the end of unfulfillment in your life!  Why? Because when you start to use your mouth in accordance with what the Word says you must do, which is speaking what the Word says you must speak; then and only then will you become filled, satisfied and fulfilled with the things that you do!  You’ll become satisfied with the things that you have, and fulfilled with your life.
That is one of the many benefits that speaking in tongues will do for you;  it
ministers satisfaction and fulfillment into your soul!
So what the Word of God is saying is that it is only the infilling of the Holy Spirit that can give to man complete fulfillment and satisfaction of life. And nothing and no one else can.

פּרי  perı̂y  fruit  –  produce, reward, fruit

Until you have received the Holy Spirit, and are continually filled with the Holy Spirit through speaking, you will never be satisfied by anything in this life.  That is what the Lord Jesus Christ said Himself in John 4:13 – 14, Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:  14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”

Jesus is saying to us that no matter what you are given or have in this life, it will never satisfy you, you will surely thirst for it again.  But only after you drink of the water that He gives shall you be totally satisfied!  But now what is this water that the Lord Jesus is referring to?  In John 7: 38 – 39 He said He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.  39 But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”
So, the living water that the Lord Jesus gives is the infilling of the Holy Spirit. This is the rivers from the well of your inner most being of living water springing up into everlasting life producing in you satisfaction with your life, satisfaction in your job, satisfaction with everything that pertains to your life! You’ll have real unending satisfaction and fulfillment!

Let’s look at Proverbs 18, verse 20 again: “A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth… and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.” What is he talking about? Remember Acts chapter 2? They were all filled with the Holy Spirit”, and then the prophet of the book of proverbs says “with the increase of their lips shall he be filled”, and Isaiah says “with stammering lips and another tongue shall he speak to this people.  This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.” (Isaiah 28:11 – 12).  And then comes Jesus, wraps up the revelation by the Spirit and saysout of his belly shall flow rivers of living water!”  Now, what am I showing you here? I’m showing you how scripture interprets scripture.  And the scripture is interpreting all this to referring to speaking in other tongues, glory to God!

שׂבע  śâba  filled  –  be fulfilled, be satisfied with

This is what the prophet from book of wisdom was seeing here in our opening scripture! He was revealing being filled with the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues, speaking the Word of God, and singing spiritual songs.  And the Lord Jesus says that satisfaction and fulfillment will not come from things you have or do or consume.  It won’t come by being in some relationships, or being married, or having children!  As beautiful and wonderful as all those things are, that’s why a lot of people, even though they have acquired all these things, they are still unsatisfied, they are still unfulfilled! Why? Because “a man’s belly shall be satisfied by the fruit of his mouth!” What is Solomon seeing? If you read Ecclesiastes, he said all these things are vanityHe testifies that having acquired everything, did everything that wealth could provide, even being the richest man that had ever lived, and even had a thousand concubines, but said, “All these things are vanity, all are vanity! Why?
Because you can only be satisfied by those things only if there is “the increase of your lips” as you are speaking in other tongues!  A man’s belly shall be satisfied only by the water that Jesus Christ gives which is the infilling of the Holy Spirit.  When it says “belly” it’s not talking about the belly with the food in your stomach: he is referring to your innermost being – that belly that is your spirit and your soul together.
And
Jesus said, “Out of your belly shall flow rivers of life water, rivers of satisfying water!” Rivers of satisfaction! Rivers of fulfillment! Haha!  So speaking in tongues, speaking the Word of God is the only things that God designed for man to bring fulfillment and satisfaction in a persons life! Are you unsatisfied on your job? Are you unfulfilled with your life? The word of God reveals to us the solution.
Hey listen, I am always joyful, I am always satisfied, I am always fulfilled about my life 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Because I found out this secret from the Word of God.
There is no place for depression, dissatisfaction and unfulfillment for the child of God who is filled with the Holy Spirit and is speaking in other tongues, and speaking the Word of God! You can only be satisfied with the fruit of your mouth as you’re speaking in other tongues! You can only be fulfilled by the increase of your lips as you’re speaking the Word of God!  Speaking in tongues and speaking the Word is mandatory if you want to live in satisfaction and experience fulfillment of life! So never neglect or despise speaking in other tongues. And never despise or neglect speaking the Word of God. Do it daily.

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, I thank You that true satisfaction and fulfillment come from You alone, through the power of the Holy Spirit.  Thank You Father for Your wisdom of speaking in tongues and speaking the Word, that puts me over and brings satisfaction and fulfillment for my life.  I will not neglect this gift for fulfillment and satisfaction in life. Thank you for Your satisfaction and fulfillment in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Speak The Word
My belly, my soul, my innermost being is satisfied with the fruit of my mouth! By the increase of my lips, I am filled with divine satisfaction and fulfillment! There is no room for depression or unfulfillment in my life because I am filled with the Holy Spirit everyday as I speak in other tongues and sleaking the Word of God! I live in perpetual satisfaction in the name of Jesus the Christ!

God’s Masterpiece: Created Unto Good Works

Study The Word

Ephesians 2:10 KJV
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Our opening verse reveals a profound truth about who you are in Christ, it says that “you are God’s workmanship”If you are in Christ Jesus right now, the Word of God describes you as God’s workmanship.  This is a truth, a present day reality that you must accept, and endorse.  Lets look deeper into how God sees you when He looks at you.  Now, the word “workmanship” here is a originally in the Greek: poiemaIt means you are God’s product that has His stamp of workmanship and approval, gaurantee for success, glory, beauty, and excellence.  And then He goes on to say He designed you this way for the execution of good works. Think about that!

ποίημα  poiēma  workmanship  –  product, God made,  God work, workmanship, masterpiece, work of art, design

You are God’s divine masterpiece intricately designed by Him.  You were made according to God’s perfect design.  And now have been fabricated anew in Christ Jesus.  And what is the purpose of this magnificent creation? He says, “unto good works”.

The way God created you as His masterpiece is in such a way that you are able to produce good and glorious works to bless your world.  And these good works God has “before ordained that you should walk in them”That means that He planned for you to execute and succeed in them.  And He prepared every thing you will require for you to prosper and to succeed in those good works.

ἀγαθός  ἔργον  agathos ergon:  good work –  good business, good job, good employment, good occupation, good profession, excellent business, employment, excellent occupation – work, honourable work – business – employment – occupation, good ability

Good works refers to a work, a profession, or a job or occupation that you were preordained to showcase your God given gifts, talents and abilities as a blessing in service to God and to man.  And the Word says that you have been created in Christ Jesus unto those good works; to display the good abilities, the good gifts, talents and ideas that are in you so that you can be a blessing to your world.  Your very design and make up as His work of art is to reveal and to express these good abilities that God put within you.
Now, when you came into Christ these gifts and abilities were then empowered and perfected by the Holy Spirit to be a blessing that will impact the world. This is your purpose and your calling in life, make sure that you don’t miss it. Discover the good abilities that God has prepared and placed on the inside of you today and begin to be bold and confident about them.  When you discover them, step out in faith because God has put His stamp of approval and gaurantee on you to execute them for the blessing of others as His masterpiece.  Begin to work on them everyday and you will begin to see the power of God and the glory of God manifested and revealed in and through your life.

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, I thank You that I am Your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus. Thank You that You put Your gaurantee and stamp of approval on me for every gift and ability that You put within me, purposed for good works that You have before ordained for me to walk in. I acknowledge this reality for my life today and the good things You have placed within me in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Speak The Word
I am God’s masterpiece, His work of art, uniquely designed and created in Christ Jesus. I am created unto good works. I display and reveal the good gifts and abilities that are in me in Christ Jesus, manifesting His power and glory to the blessing of all.

Rivers Of Life Like Water

Study The Word
John 7:38-39

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

This is so powerful! Jesus Himself, in John chapter 7, verse 38, said something absolutely profound: “He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water!” And then, verse 39 explains it for us – “But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive.” This was about the Holy Spirit, who had not yet been given because Jesus had not yet been glorified.
But listen closely to what Jesus is revealing here! What is He talking about when He says “rivers of living water”? He’s telling you that the life of being a Christian, that glorious life you received when you got born again, is only expressed and brought out by the Holy Spirit! And it will flow out from within your spirit like rivers! The life of a child of God, the life of a Christian, is brought out from within you like rivers by the Holy Spirit!

And when does this happen? Jesus was describing what happens when a child of God, has received the Holy Spirit and has started “speaking in other tongues!”  That’s what He was talking about here! When He says “out of your belly,” what is He talking about? He’s talking about out of your spirit! Your inner most being.  Out of your spirit shall flow rivers of life water; rivers of living water!   So, here is the key: speaking in tongues is the one that releases those rivers of living water! It releases those rivers of life water, those rivers of the life of God that have been deposited in your human spirit! They are brought out by the Holy Spirit!
And what is it that’s going to begin to flow from you like rivers? – love, patience, kindness, boldness, faith, spiritual wisdom begins to flow, divine understanding, divine health, grace will begin to work, spiritual power will begin to ooze from out of you like rivers as you begin to speak in other tongues!  The manifestation of the Spirit according to 1st Corinthians 12 is only given to those who speak in other tongues.  This is the true life of the child of God.

λαλέω  laleo  speak  –  utter a voice or emit a sound, preach, speak

γλῶσσα  glossa  tongue  –  language, dialect, tongue

Let me tell you a story: one day I’m out at a school in Khayelitsha, Cape Town ministering to almost 2 thousand teenagers in a big school hall. It was the toughest crowd of rowdy teenagers I’d ever encountered to date, but still over a thousand of them gave their hearts to Jesus that day.  The school had become so bad and so dangerous that the Head of School had to have armed police on duty so that I could have the meeting with them in that hall. This marked the first time the entire school body would be able to gather in the hall after many years during which it had been impossible.
The meeting went on, and I led many of them to salvation, with the exception of a few who were brought to me after the program. I started preaching the gospel to them, and just like teenagers would, they began making jokes and laughing at me. While this was going on, I simply switched from English to speaking in tongues. I continued to preach the gospel to them in other tongues as if nothing had happened, haha!

My goodness, everything shifted. They all went quiet; their eyes bulged, and their mouths dropped in silence. I was preaching to them in other tongues, and the Holy Spirit arrested them. Soon afterward, I asked them, “Who wants to receive Jesus Christ?” All of them received Christ and went home changed.
I didn’t plan to do this. Listen, if you had told me to preach the gospel in tongues to a group of 20 teenagers who were already making fun of me, I wouldn’t have done that. It would have made them laugh and mock even more. But the wisdom and the power of God through speaking in tongues was exactly what was needed to save those young boys.

This is one of the many countless miracles I encountered with speaking in other tongues over the years.  This is the promise that God made to Abraham, for us to receive the blessing of Abraham through Christ.  The gift of the Holy Spirit is the blessing of Abraham; “that the Gentiles might receive the promise of the Holy Spirit through faith” (Galatians 3:14), and it has arrived, we now have it glory to God!  This is what made Abraham who he was, the gift of the Holy Spirit.
That’s why it is paramount for every child of God to speak in other tongues, because to experience the true Christian life, you must receive the Holy Spirit and begin speaking in tongues.  Speaking releases that living water! It’s what releases the life of God like water flowing from your human spirit! Glory to God!
Make sure you make it habit to speak in other tongues everyday, everywhere, every time and see the working of the power of God in your life flow like living waters.

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your precious gift of the Holy Spirit.  Thank you Father, like rivers of living water that flow from within me, the supernatural life of the sons of God is my everyday experience activated by speaking in other tongues. Heavenly Father I thank You,  that as I speak in other tongues, Your eternal life and power are released from my spirit like mighty rivers, expressing and manifesting the true Christian life You have given me in Jesus name, amen.

Speak The Word
Out of my belly, out of my spirit, flow rivers of living water! I am filled with the Holy Spirit everyday and as I speak in tongues, the life of God overflows from within me! I experience and express the fullness of the Christian life through the power of the Holy Spirit everyday!

Made Alive In Christ

Study The Word

1 Corinthians 15:22 KJV
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Another powerful truth to grasp about our identity and inheritance in Christ Jesus is the profound reality of being “made alive” in Him. The Apostle Paul’s understanding of the gospel reveals that if you are in Christ Jesus, there are indeed good things within you. We see this vividly in Ephesians chapter 2, beginning from verse 4, which declares, “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ”. And by grace, you are savedThe term “quickened together” here is a beautiful revelation meaning “made alive together”, which we said before is a “joint-reanimation” with Christ.  So the moment you receive Jesus Christ you are brought back to life from spiritual death to be alive unto God in Christ Jesus. The Apostle Paul now reveals to us that just as in Adam we all died – and were separated from God, even so now IN Christ are all made alive – and are reconciled back to God, how amazing!  If you are IN Christ today, you have been brought back to life from spiritual death. Glory to God!

ζωοποιέω  zōopoieō  made alive  –  produce life, cause to live, make alive, give life, invigorate, restore to life, endue with new and greater powers of life, to re-vitalize, quicken

To get a deeper understanding of this miracle here we’ll look deeper into the phrase “made alive” translated from the Greek word zōopoieō. Zoopoieo is a compound of zoe and poieo.  Now, Jesus Himself revealed to us that zoe is the very life of God, “As the Father has life (zoe) in Himself, so has He given to the Son to have (zoe) life in Himself” (John 5:26).  Jesus was fun to be around when He walked the streets of Jerusalem, the things He said!  Ok, moving along we have poieo, which means “creating, making or producing with words”.   So when you put these two words together, what you now have is “the life of God, eternal life clothed in vocabulary!”  That’s zoopoieo. Eish!

It is when the Word of God, which contains the eternal life of God revives and reanimates with power what it comes into contact with.  That’s what he means when he says made alive. When a man who is spiritually dead – separated from God hears the word of God in the form of the gospel of Jesus Christ; the life of God in the message of the gospel contacts the mans dead spirit, and the power of eternal life zoopoieo – brings him back to life – enduing him with a new life; and the person is born again.

So, in Christ Jesus, we have been made alive. I’m talking about when the Word of God, which contains eternal life reproduces a new spirit with a new life in us; a spirit that is alive unto God. This is the reality of being a child of God. Its got nothing to do with religion.  I am a son of God, I’m not a religious person. Spiritual ignoramus can’t understand this stuff.  “The natural man does not understand the things of the spirit of God because they are pneumatikos anakrino – spiritually discerned!” The bible says “they are foolishness unto him and neither can he know them“(1 Corinthians 2:14); so they say “Shingi he is just a religious person”, fools! The bible calls them fools!

Think about this, and if you’re a child of God never forget it. Meditate on it through the day every other day, day and night.  The Word of God in the gospel of Christ and when you received it, “according to the working of the power of God” produced eternal life in your human spirit, and you were reanimated – made alive unto God. So now, just like Jesus you can say “as the Father has life in Himself so has He given to me His son to have life within myself!” This is one of the biggest miracles of Christianity and it has nothing to do with religion at all.

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, thank You that by Your great love and rich mercy with which you have loved me, that even when I was dead in sins, You made me alive together with Christ. Thank You for the reanimation of my spirit by the power of Your eternal zoe life through the gospel. I acknowledge this good thing that is in me in Christ Jesus today and always, in Jesus name, amen.

Speak The Word
I am alive unto God in Christ Jesus! The life of God is actively at work within me, I’m alive unto God. I have been made alive by the power of eternal life.  I have the life of God in me; in my spirit, in my soul and in my body!

Ephesians 3:14 – 19 KJV

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

That He would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man;

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Ephesians 3:14-21 REMEDY

It is for your healing and transformation that I kneel before the Father, from whom His entire family in heaven and on earth derives its character, methods, and principles.

I pray that out of the glorious riches that emanate from His being, and through the working of His Spirit in your minds, you will be fully transformed into Christlikeness and so settled into God’s methods and principles that you cannot be shaken, so that Christ will dwell in your hearts through trust. And I pray that you, rooted and transformed by love, will have your minds enabled (together with all the saints) to grasp how immense, and wide, and long, and deep, and high is the love of Christ, and to know in every fiber of your beings this love that surpasses intellectual knowledge, that you may become living showcases of God’s loving character.

Ephesians 3:14-21 T4T

Because God has done all this for you, I kneel and pray to God our Father.

Joyful Expectation

Study The Word
Hebrews 9:28
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

The journey of the church of Jesus Christ began with a very powerful, supernatural event: the simultaneous baptism and infilling of the Holy Spirit of the 120 as recorded in Acts 2. What an incredible start! And now, as this church age draws to its close, we are anticipating another miracle of even grander proportions – the catching away, or the rapture of the church. The anticipation that the church has is a living, breathing hope that shapes the daily lives of those that have the Spirit of God in them.

ἀπεκδέχομαι  Apekdechomai  look for  –  waiting with great anticipation, patiently to wait

There’s a powerful Greek term that captures the very essence of how we, as Spirit-filled members of the church of Jesus Christ have, as we anticipate the approaching of this glorious expectation: “Apekdechomai”.
Apekdechomai speaks of an attitude of intense yearning, a deep and joyful eagerness, an expectation that is bubbling over with gladness as we wait for something monumental to happen. This is the very attitude the Bible says every Spirit-filled child of God possess as we see the day of His coming drawing closer and closer!
This divine anticipation certainly doesn’t communicate fear or anxiety, does it? No, not at all! Why? Because this celebratory anticipation that fills our hearts is actually the reciprocal attitude with which Jesus Christ Himself, and the entire Heavenly Host, are joyfully waiting for the great reunion! Think about it: they are eagerly anticipating being finally reunited with us, those who have believed in Jesus until His return. What a thought! If you are born again and filled with the Spirit, then truly, happy are you! You are on the winning side, filled with a hope that transcends earthly worries of what the future holds for us, whether we be alive or asleep in Christ.
Rejoice, because it is written, “Eye has not seen nor ear heard nor has it entered into the hearts of men the things that God has prepared for them that love Him.”(1 Corinthians 2:9 – 10)
But here’s another glorious truth: “God has revealed these things to us by His Spirit.” So, our expectation of His coming is not rooted in ignorance or fear, but in a revealed, joyful hope of His coming that is revealed to us in the written Word.
Regarding this hope the Apostle John says, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when Jesus shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see him as he is.” (1 John 3:2)
So, from now until that day, let these truths reside within you: “NOW are we the sons of God.”   Now!
Not one day, some day or another day but, right now, today glory God!  And that “we know that, when Jesus shall appear, we shall be like Him;” and “unto us that look for him shall he appear the second time”, unto the salvation of our physical body; the transfiguration of our mortal bodies to become just like Jesus’s glorified body.

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, thank You for the blessed hope of the rapture, the catching away of Your church.  Father, thank You for the blessed hope in me of an intense yearning with a joyful eagerness and expectation for our Lord Jesus’s return that cries out even so come Lord Jesus, come.  Thank You Father, that this anticipation is the same one that even Jesus has for us which expels all fear and anxiety; as You, and the entire Heavenly Host are also joyfully awaiting Our glorious reunion. I rejoice in the knowledge of the things You have prepared for me, revealed by Your Word and Your Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Speak The Word
I am a child of God, joyfully expecting the Lord’s coming! My anticipation is reciprocal to the joy of heaven therefore there can be no fear regarding my meeting the Lord Jesus again at His coming. Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, the glorious things God has prepared for me as they have been revealed to me as a son of God.  I am a son of God NOW, I am a child of God now, and when He shall appear, I shall be like Him, for I shall see Him as He is!

The Legal & Vital Ministry That Christ Fulfills

Study The Word
Romans 4:25 KJV
Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

The ministry of Jesus Christ, so profound and multifaceted, can be beautifully understood through two distinct lenses: His Legal Ministry and His Vital Ministry. This is the very foundation of our identity, inheritance, and ability in Christ Jesus!

His Legal Ministry began the moment He was led into the wilderness, spanning His entire earthly walk, culminating in His crucifixion, burial, and descent into hell. This was Jesus, the Son of Man, bearing our sin, our sickness, our poverty – becoming sin for us, in our place. He was delivered up for our trespasses, carrying the full weight of Adam’s sin, the sins of Israel, and indeed, the sin of the whole world. This was the magnificent, substitutionary work that happened for us, on the cross and in the grave. It was a work of divine legality, settling the score once and for all, and forever!

His Vital Ministry, on the other hand, commenced with His glorious resurrection from the tomb. Picture this: Jesus, ascending with His own blood, sprinkling it on the throne of mercy, and then taking His rightful seat on the Father’s throne in heaven. This is His present, living ministry in us and for us today! It’s the continuous flow of love and grace, now being vitally administered by the Holy Spirit in and through us. This is where we live, breathe, and operate now – not by the way of a dead religion and it’s dead practices, but by the vitality of the Spirit of life in Christ that is now operating in us with a real vital, tangible power. So now people can see the power of God in your life in real time. See, that is what made Jesus Christ different from those religious leaders of His day, to the point were they hated Him for it, and even crucified Him for it. He was not in the performance of religion but in a real vital relationship wit His Heavenly Father, and it was tangible and visible.  And that is what Jesus Christ brought us into.  Don’t be satisfied with just having religion, understand the vitality of the life of Christ in us that reveals a vibrant relationship with a real God that is provable.

This understanding of Jesus’ ministry allows us to properly appropriate everything Jesus made available for us through His death, burial, and resurrection in our lives in real time, and not in the hope of the future. It’s the difference between knowing what He did and experiencing what He is doing in you right now!  This is what differentiates between a child of God who has a living relationship with God Almighty, and someone who just practices a Christian religion.  Their lives are not the same, even though, they both believe in Jesus.
So, understand this distinction today so that you can have the correct expectation of faith for today, in order for you to begin to vitally experience in reality all that Jesus did for you.  Refuse to be in another dead religion, the world is filled with too many of those already.

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, thank You for all the glorious things that our Lord Jesus accomplished with His death, burial and resurrection on my behalf; where He bore my sin, sickness, poverty and carried my shame. Heavenly Father, I thank You that I can experience the vitality of all that the Lord Jesus did in my life today; as He lives forever to minister Your love, grace in and through me everyday through the Holy Spirit in Jesus name, amen.

Speak The Word
The Lord Jesus was delivered for my trespasses, I am free! And because He was raised, I am justified! I boldly appropriate the love and grace of all that He accomplished to flow in and through every area of my life. I walk in the reality of His finished work and His present work in me, for His name’s sake!

The Extravagant Love of God

Study The Word

2 Corinthians 13:14 TPT
Now, may the grace and joyous favor of the Lord Jesus Christ, the unambiguous love of God, and the precious communion that we share in the Holy Spirit be yours continually. Amen!

Beyond the enabling power of grace, we are enveloped by the extravagant love of God. This isn’t a fleeting emotion, but a profound, active reality that transforms our consciousness. Our study of the word “love” here, agape, unveils its multifaceted nature.

ἀγάπη  agapē   love- affectionate & humble, patient & kind, giving & forgiving, eternal – unchanging & unending, unconditional & reliable active benevolent love of God; Benevolence of God.

The love of God is an action; it is a verb. It is not a feeling. It’s affectionate and humble, patient and kind, giving and forgiving. This is the love of God! My consciousness must be that God gives to me and He forgives me. He is patient and kind with me. He is affectionate towards me. These are the thoughts that come to my mind when I think of what God thinks about me.

God’s love for us is eternal. This means it is unchanging, unending, and also unconditional. This is your God! This magnificent love permeates and inundates every area of your life. You are enveloped and inundated with the manifestation of the love of God upon your life.

When people look at your life, the testimony will be, “Look at him, look at her, the one that God loves!” They will say, “This one is loved by God.” They will see the love of God upon your life. This is the will of God for you, the perfect will of God for your life. They will recognize that only those things happen to only those whom God loves. They’ll be like, “Oh wow, God loves this person, God loves this brother, God loves this sister, this can only happen if God loves you!” Hallelujah!

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unconditional and unambiguous love that is at work in my life. Thank You that Your love is affectionate, humble, patient, kind, giving, and forgiving, and that it is eternal, unchanging, and unending. I embrace Your love that permeates every aspect of my life.

Speak The Word
I am loved by God!  The unconditional and unambiguous love of God is upon my life. I am loved by God! His love is evident and abundant in every area of my life, and people see His love upon me

No More Struggle: Your Walk of Continuous Success

The Intimate Friendship of the Holy Spirit

Study The Word

2 Corinthians 13:14 MSG
The amazing grace of the Master, Jesus Christ, the extravagant love of God, the intimate friendship of the Holy Spirit, be with all of you.

This powerful prayer concludes with a profound blessing: “the intimate friendship of the Holy Spirit”. The word “fellowship” or “communion” in the Greek is koinonia, and it speaks volumes about the depth of this relationship.

κοινωνία   koinōnia  friendship –  oneness, intercourse, intimacy, reciprocation, communion, partnership, distribution, relationship – friendship

Koinonia is talking about Oneness. The Holy Spirit is now one with my spirit; we have a Oneness. Everything that I do comes from my Oneness with the Holy Spirit. Imagine, in everything you embark on, you are conscious that you are one with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is one with meThis

koinonia also signifies partnership. The Holy Spirit is partnering with me in this work. This is a reciprocated partnership. As I partner with Him, the Holy Spirit reciprocates and partners with me as He backs me. I have the backing of the Holy Spirit! Be conscious of this, hey!

And then, another beautiful synonym for koinonia is Friendship. Is the Holy Spirit your friend? He’s a friend that sticks closer than a brother! He’s always been there as your friend, but maybe you have never recognized Him as your friend. It is God’s will for your life that you have that friendship with the Holy Spirit, just like the Lord Jesus Christ had that friendship with the Holy Spirit.

From today, you begin to recognize the Holy Spirit as your friend, your Eternal friend, the Spirit of God. He is your best friend. Life and Aphtharsia (Incorruption) Brought to Light

Study The Word

2 Timothy 1:10 KJV
But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Beyond abolishing death, the appearing of Jesus Christ brought something else magnificent to light: life and incorruption! The King James Version translates ‘aphtharsia’ as ‘immortality,’ but the more accurate translation is ‘incorruption’. What happens when you heard the Gospel, received it, believed it and responded to it you are instantly brought into the God life – a new kind of life, the divine life!  You were brought into the reality realm of incorruption!

ἀφθαρσία  aphtharsia  incorruption (immortality) – incorruptibility, unending existence

What is incorruption? It’s not yet immortality, where this mortal body cannot die. No, your body is still mortal! But incorruption is that state when the life of God, the eternal life, mingles with your mortal body, and overpowering mortality causing it to transform to become incorruptible. That is the state that every child of God is currently living in – incorruption. You have not obtained immortality yet.  Remember how the Word of God says we are born again, “not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever” (1 Peter 1:23). You have incorruption now, my brother! You have incorruption now my sister! Hallelujah! What does this mean? It means that this body, though mortal, is now receiving life from God divine, making it resistant to sickness, disease, decay and every corrupting effect of sin! Glory to God! Live everyday in the consciousness of this and enjoy the benefits of aphtharsia – incorruption.

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, thank You that through the Gospel and the appearing of Jesus Christ, You have brought life and incorruption to light. I rejoice that Your divine life now mingles with my mortal body, making me incorruptible by Your living Word.

Speak The Word
I declare that I have received life and incorruption through the Gospel! The life of God flows in my mortal body, empowering it with divine resistance to decay and corruption. I am born of incorruptible seed!

Dominion Over Sickness

Study The Word
Mark 16:17-18
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

In Christ Jesus we have been given an incredible mandate and authority in the name of Jesus Christ to confront and conquer sickness and disease.  The life of a child of God is not just about enduring ailments, going through life half medicated, or putting your faith in the words and discoveries of medical science, not being sure what would happen if you get a diagnosis of one kind or the other, no.  Anyone who claims to genuinely believes in Jesus wouldn’t accept this at all; if you take into consideration the words of Jesus Christ in our opening verse. This is Jesus speaking about how you’d be able to identify those who believe in Him. Jesus didn’t say “these signs shall follow them that believe; you shall see them going to church; as important as church attendance is in the life of a believer; Jesus didn’t say “these signs shall follow them that believe; they shall be preaching”,  it being something you’d find with a lot of believers today. Nor did he say a lot of other things that Christians do as a part of their faith.

σημεῖον  sēmeion  sign  –  a sign, mark, token

But what He did say as seen in the opening scripture is, number one credential to identify a genuine believer is  – “In my name shall they cast out devils” , number two credential is – “they shall speak with new tongues”, number three credential is – “They shall take up serpents”, number four – “if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them”, number five – “they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover”.  Question, are any of these a part of your life as a believer? You can answer that for yourself in your quiet time; today we are focusing on the first, fourth and fifth credential, and we will look into the other in the future.

Being a genuine believer in Jesus Christ is about exercising the dominion we have in Christ Jesus. This  as listed by Jesus which is the explicit power to cast out devils and ingest anything deadly thing and it not having the power to hurt you, lay hands on the sick, and watch them to recover.  This is the power life of a child of God, this is your calling.
The exercising of our God given dominion in Christ should be an everyday occurrence in your life; child of God, rise up and cast out devils!!!
Don’t just sit and watch things just drift into darkness, don’t just sit and allow the doctors report affect and control the circumstances of your existence; cast out devils!!  In fact, how did it even get to the point where the doctor was giving you diagnosis? If you had taken up your calling and taken it serious from early when you began your journey in Christ, dealing and addressing symptoms of sickness like how Jesus showed us and “left us an example that we should follow in His steps”, things would’ve never gotten to the doctors report level.
And you have all that Holy Spirit in you; ooh if only you understood what it means to be filled with the Holy Spirit.  How that through the power of the Holy Spirit you can exercise dominion of sickness, disease and infirmity.  That’s the life of a true believer.

When you declare, “I command every devil of sickness, disease, and infirmity to come out of my body right now and be cast back to the pit of hell to never return in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!” being full of the Holy Spirit no devil of sickness, disease or infirmity can stand a chance.  Listen, I live this life; I am not teaching you to do something that I don’t practice.  This is how I live in dominion always! When symptoms and demons of sickness attack my body, I don’t wait wait or waste time, I DESTROY!! Haha!  I’m not interested in knowing “what will the doctor say?”  Noooo, I KNOW WHAT JESUS SAID!

παρακολουθέω  parakoloutheō  follow –  to follow after, always at his side, to follow close, accompany, be always present, to follow closely after

And I know who I am, glory to God!  Listen, I love doctors, and the entire practice of medical science and true medicine, so I’m in no way suggesting that there are not important and shouldn’t be consider.  In fact, the first time I went out for evangelism, I started ministry preaching in hospitals.  The first time I’d ever preach to an audience was in an hospital ward; this was in 2002. I will tell you the story one day.  So I worked with doctors and nurses around the city, over 20 years ago. And then I saw my hospital ministry would grow to the point where they even had my number, the nurses and doctors of some hospitals and they’d call me when they knew that medical science had reached the end of its rope. Because they also had seen verifiable miracles of healing.  My hospital ministry was vibrant, I saw many miracles of healings and the power of God, the Word of God coming alive.  And I’ve been this way ever since.  So I know what I’m telling you.  You need to practice unleashing the authority given to you as a member of Jesus’ body, being one that is seated with Him in heavenly places, far above all principality and power (Ephesians 2:6).

Start with that headache, don’t be quick to rush for the headache medicine, cast that headache out!!   Lay hands on that place where your feeling the discomfort, or there’s an uncomfortable growth, or sharp pain.  Don’t wait and say let’s see what the doctors scan is going to do.  Or think what is going to happen? Jesus already told you what is going to happen!  Lay hands there and cast the pain, or the tumor, or that devil OUT!!
See, most of the time, sickness is not merely a physical malfunction; it often has a spiritual root, empowered by demonic forces.  Similarly, even if no demonic force is behind it, Jesus said you can speak to anything, he said “if you shall say unto this mountain, be removed” (Mark 11:23).  Is it a pain? Trust what Jesus said and begin to put it to work from today, don’t wait for the special-special man of God.
Jesus said casting out demons of for all that believe Him. Not the special-special ones.

“I command every spirit of infirmity and spirit of sickness to go from my body right now and be cast into the pit of hell to never return in the name of Jesus Christ!”

I do this. I’ve been doing this for decades. I don’t get sick! I’m not learning this, I’ve mastered it.  But you need to start asap, if you haven’t already.  But if you have continue with it, don’t stop.
This is how you deal with the spiritual entities behind physical manifestations of the ailments that attack your body. You have to have a determined mentality for direct confrontation, rooted in your position and authority in Christ. You are not begging the devil; you are issuing a divine command, authoritatively!
Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, make it off-limits to any symptoms of sickness, big or small. Bombard them with declarations of your authority in dealing with them, never wait.  This consciousness and response thereof empowers you to be an active participant in your own healing, where you live in dominion always, driving out what does not belong.

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the authority given to me in the name of Jesus Christ. I declare that I have power over every devil of sickness, disease, and infirmity. I boldly exercise this dominion today.

Speak The Word
I command every devil of sickness, disease, and infirmity to come out of my body right now and be cast back to the pit of hell to never return in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! I command every spirit of infirmity and spirit of sickness to go from my body right now and be cast into the pit of hell to never return in the name of Jesus Christ! My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit; therefore, no devil of sickness can oppress my body in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Divine Hierarchy Established

Divine Hierarchy Established

Ephesians 4:11-12
And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

There is a divine hierarchy that was established by the Lord Jesus Christ, whether people know it or not, believe it or not, understand it or not!  People’s ignorance of spiritual truths does not negate their reality and efficacy and whatever consequence that comes as a result of their ignorance of them.  Wow, today is a Sunday, so I’ve prepared a decent chunk of teaching for you, but it is eternally valuable so it will be a invaluable investment for you.

Ok, I will start with this statement – always put yourself in a position to be knowledgeable about spiritual principles that govern existence. If you take into consideration how devastating being ignorant of physical laws and principles can be, now imagine the devastation of being ignorant of spiritual laws; knowing that the physical world is controlled and ruled by the spiritual.  And one of those laws is that there is a divine hierarchy that was established by the Lord Jesus Christ. There are those that God has chosen and set above others in the body of Christ, not because they are better, not because they have perfect characters, but mainly because of God’s sovereign choice, purpose and plan; and also because those whom He has chosen are now trained, ready, prepared, and positioned to execute. But the truth is that there is an established hierarchy.

αὐτός  autos  He  –  himself

Jesus Christ is the one who appoints and anoints the five-fold ministers to physically represent Him in the earth for the benefit of the body of Christ. He alone chooses and appoints them, and not any man or ‘man of God’.  So how you treat them matters, it will either bless you or curse you and unfortunately there is no other outcome and even more telling is that your ignorance of this truth does not exempt you from the consequence.  It is safer for you to leave them alone; if you don’t like or believe in what they are doing or how they are handling things it is safer for you to leave them and move away to somewhere else, because to go against these members of the five-fold ministry is not wise. Jesus takes it as though you are going against him. (Acts 9:1; 4 – 5)  Always use wisdom when relating to them if you want to be successful in life and in the things of God.
Hebrews 5:4 says “no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron”; it doesn’t matter who ordains you or how many titles you give yourself (Jeremiah 1:5).  This hierarchy and callings of God go beyond an ordination or the title people or a person can give themselves (Psalm 139:16).  It’s a spiritual deposit of an office gift from Jesus Christ Himself that He put’s into the human spirit, being chosen of Him as early as your being in your mother’s womb, and it being made effectual in and through you as soon as you get being born again (Galatians 1:15).

δίδωμι  didōmi  gave  –  to give, to give something to someone, give a gift, to bestow a gift

That is the gift that you need to focus on, that one that God put inside you to do the work, and the results will always show.  Always keep the work at the forefront of your daily assignment and not ordinations and appointments as great as they are, those are one of the “signs following” of Mark 16:20; trust me, the Lord is faithful and will always confirm His gifting and calling into the five-fold ministry “..with signs following”.  You will not have to convince people that you are a Pastor, the gift will show; you won’t have to tell people that God ordained you to be an apostle, an evangelist, a teacher, a prophet because the calling, the gift will announce itself and the ordination will always follow.  In the interim, focus on the work, don’t worry too much about the confirmations, those God will make happen at the right time but for now, focus on the work of the office that He called you to.  That is what will count when you finally meet Him, your work and not your titles.

You see why I say it is beyond an ordination or the title a person gets to call themselves?  So, this is not a small responsibility – you are dealing with the Lord Jesus Christ’s appointments here, it is very serious!  So never rush or be in haste for it, pursue the work, pursue the service in the gospel first.  Because Jesus Christ Himself said in Matthew 5:16  “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”  He didn’t say so that men can see your title, He said so that men can see your good works – “I chase after good works, so that men glorify my Father which is in heaven.”

These may be very controversial statements to many Christians but it is the truth of God’s Word, that is what matters and that nobody can deny; and so I teach it.  For myself there is one personality that I fear and I tremble at with every fibre of my being, and that is Jesus Christ.  I have no respect or fear of the devil or demons, I am only scared of Jesus.   And these five-fold ministry gifts, in their individual capacity and gifting, are appointed to physically represent Him, Jesus, in the body of Christ while He Himself is in heaven.  And if you get this understanding you will position your heart rightly towards them always.

This divine hierarchy is not man’s invention but Christ’s own establishment for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ. When you understand this, you realize that recognizing and submitting to this spiritual authority is not foolish but – it’s wisdom! It’s God’s design for your spiritual growth and ministerial effectiveness.  I tell people, there are things that I do not joke or mess around with in this life, and they are, God Almighty – Jesus Christ, the things (Word) of God and men of God. That’s because I have spiritual understanding and insight concerning these; and I will never join the spiritually uneducated in their folly of a stance against these things, no matter the situation.

Every and any person who is called into the five-fold ministry I have and will always honour in secret and in private, and this is one of the biggest secrets to my longevity in my successful service in the gospel of Christ (I also have another very important secret about your biological parents that is even more important that I will teach on very soon).
And I have upheld this for years and I have seen many fail at it and just fade.  These are some uncommon secrets that have kept me relevant in the things of God for a long time.  And I encourage you to learn, adjust your heart posture and uphold the same, and see your walk with God and your service in the house of God perpetually flourish.

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, I recognize that You have established divine hierarchy in Your body through the five-fold ministry gifts. Thank You for appointing apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to represent Jesus Christ in the earth. Help me to honour and submit to this spiritual authority You have placed over me, knowing this is Your design for my perfection and growth in ministry.

Speak The Word
I acknowledge God’s divine hierarchy in the body of Christ! I honour the five-fold ministry gifts that Jesus Christ has appointed to represent Him in the earth. I submit to the spiritual authority God has placed over me, knowing this is His perfect plan for my spiritual growth and ministerial effectiveness!

The Urgent Call to Preach

Study The Word

Romans 10:14 KJV
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

Child of God, have you ever considered the profound urgency embedded in these verses? How are people going to call upon the name of the Lord and be saved if they haven’t believed? And how can they believe if they haven’t heard? The answer is startlingly simple, yet deeply challenging: They cannot hear without a preacher! This isn’t just a suggestion; it’s a divine mandate. Jesus sent us, you and me, to preach the Gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15).

κηρύσσω  kērussō  –  to publish, proclaim openly, public proclamation, to herald (as a public crier) divine truth, preach (-er), proclaim

The gospel of Christ is the power of God – have you ever wondered why or how? Many Christians are hungry, searching for the power of God. They spend time and effort trying to find the power of God in every other place, and yet the Word says that the power of God is the gospel of Christ that they already know and have. The message of the gospel is all the power of God you need, but the wisdom to access and interact with God’s power is realised when you first understand what the gospel is for yourself, and then afterward activate it through the simplicity of preaching. (Romans 1:16) The gospel is the most important piece of information of all time. All of man’s problems in life can only be solved by the gospel of Jesus Christ. They all come down to one solution. And you have it; think about it.

And your role as a child of God is not merely to know and understand the Gospel, but to know and understand it to declare it. Share it, publish it. See, don’t worry about generating the power, the message in and of itslef has the power of God in it already, your responsibility is to share it. There is nothing more important in life than the gospel. The spiritual chain of salvation hinges on the act of preaching. There are millions out there waiting to hear, waiting to believe, waiting to call upon the Lord. The stories of the realities about salvation and your experiences, or how God did this or that for you – beautiful as those may be, make sure that they contain in them the specific message of the gospel. The world needs to hear the specific, powerful message of the Gospel; because the gospel of Christ, it is a specific message.  I have taught over the years extensively about what the gospel of Christ is, and you can take advantage of those teachings here on our platform so that you can be equipped with the correct knowledge of what the gospel which is the power of God is. The first 30 minutes in the resource below is one of the many where I teach and explain what is the gospel. Take some time to go through so that you know and understand it in order for you to be able to effectively preach it.  It’s a divine imperative, a holy calling on your life. Your feet, my brother, my sister are beautiful for this very purpose!

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, thank You for sending me around the world with the news  Your saving power. I acknowledge that without me, souls cannot hear, believe, or call upon Your name. Thank You for empowering me today, Father, to boldly declare the true content of the Gospel, knowing that the power of God unto salvation is in the message itself. Thank you for making my feet be beautiful as I go forth.

Speak The Word
I am a sent one, commissioned by Jesus Christ, called with a holy calling to preach the Gospel to every creature. I will not be silent, for souls are waiting to hear, believe, and be saved. The power of God rests upon my life because I’m a custodian of the gospel of Christ. The power of God is released as I open my mouth and use every resource and platform at my disposal to declare it!

SIN, GRACE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS

Study The Word

Romans 5:21 AMP
so that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness which brings eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

A subject that had many Christians confused including ministers was the issue of the place of grace in regards to sin.  And this came as a result of the rise of the grace message a couple of years ago.  And that message and teaching of grace is so beautiful but, it ran into some problems eventually and I know where the issue started. Now the issues started when the teaching of grace got misapplied being misunderstood from the verse of scripture that is the opening verse of this article, which if not studied carefully could be misleading to suggest that grace is God’s solution for sin. We will look at that scripture again carefully and you will also see where a lot of Christians encountered a problem in understanding, especially when you study it contextually.

So, you need to understand that grace was never God’s solution for the supplantation of sin and the sin nature. In other words grace was never God’s antidote for sin.  The bible never suggests that at all.  One may be wanting to ask, “Shingi, scripturally what is grace?” Let’s get into that briefly before we continue. Now, Grace simply put means God at work for a man or on behalf of man, and God at work through a man without his merit. The Amplified Bible calls it unmerited favour. And the problem people ran into with this was when through misunderstanding it was as if some teachings started to suggest that grace – unmerited favour was an antonym for sin. Although etymologically English doesn’t have an exact antonym for sin, but scripturally by revelation the Apostle Paul reveals to us that the antonym for sin is righteousness.

When you study, and you rightly divide the word of truth regarding the relationship between sin, grace and righteousness you’ll discover that the righteousness of God has always been God’s plan and solution for sin, not grace.  It is righteousness that is God’s solution for the supplantation of the sin nature in man. But now let us look at a scripture to help clarify further this issue of sin grace and righteousness:

Romans 5:19 KJV
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

I love how the KJV puts it, so simple. Now, to make it even simpler, the word translated sinners is an ancient Greek word ”Harmatolos” and harmatolos literally means ”sinful”.  So in order to further clarify the verse it’d read – For as by one man’s disobedience many were made SINFUL, so by the obedience of one shall many be made RIGHTEOUS.

In other words, one man’s disobedience produced sinfulness and the obedience of the Man Jesus Christ produced righteousness.  So it’s clear that God’s antidote for sin is righteousness. Now in this equation, where does grace fit in? Let’s find out from the continuation of the context:

Romans 5:20 AMP
But the Law came to increase and expand [the awareness of] the trespass [by defining and unmasking sin]. But where sin increased, [God’s remarkable, gracious gift of] grace [His unmerited favor] has surpassed it and increased all the more,

Now this is where many teachers who majored on the grace message got into some problems because it is from this verse that they somewhat concluded that grace was God’s solution for the sin problem.  But when you study contextually you see that grace was just the means to the end and not the end but righteousness as revealed by verse 19 was actually the end of the sin problem. So what is grace in this equation?  Simple, the law came to expose and increase sin and grace came to reveal and deliver the gift of righteousness. Therefore by equation, it is the grace versus the law which leaves you with righteousness versus sin.  Grace came to cancel or abolish the law, in order for righteousness to supplant sin.

Lets continue to read:

Romans 5:21 AMP
so that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness which brings eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

This is the verse that threw most scholars off and later caused problems possibly because it was studied outside of its context. Ok, so what does this verse mean when we put the context of verse 19 to 21 together? Let’s put it all together so that you can have the Shingi contextual translation:

”Because the disobedience of one man Adam produced sinfulness; the obedience of Jesus Christ produced righteousness, bearing in mind that the law of Moses came and exposed sinfulness that resulted in death, we thank God that the grace of Jesus Christ abolished the law of Moses and delivered for us righteousness that has given us eternal life.”

This is the Shingi translation lol.

As amazing as grace is, grace could not supplant the sin nature that was in man.  God sent forth His righteousness to supplant the sin nature that had entered into man from the fall of Adam.

Pray The Word

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your precious gift of righteousness. Thank You for making me Your righteousness in Christ Jesus. I live in the consciousness and reality of this righteousness everyday in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, amen.

Speak The Word

I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I express and manifest God’s rightness in every area of my life, in everything that I do, and everywhere I go. The power of righteousness to enforce correctness is at work in and through me, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Your New Creation Identity

Study The Word

2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The new creation in Christ is real, it’s a reality. Everyone that has received Christ knows on the inside that they are a new person.  They know deep down inside that they are different. There are not enough words to explain it but those that have it know it.  That is what the Lord Jesus Christ meant when He tried to explain this to Nicodimus  and said “except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3) The Greek word see is is “eidoo” which means to know by a prolonged observation until you become fully aware. By prolonged observation you are aware that your life has changed, you know that something is different from the inside of you; you don’t need anyone to tell you this.

καινός  kainos  new  –  new kind, fresh made, new existence

What is that? You are a new creation.  If you are in Christ, you are a new creature! This isn’t just a turning over a new leaf; it’s a complete spiritual recreation of your inner most being. The old you—dominated by sin, bound by its power, and riddled with sin consciousness—has passed away. I only caught the phrase “passed away” pertaining to this verse a lot later. So, when the scripture says “passed away”, take it like when they say “the man/woman has “passed away” – meaning, they are dead! You get it? And then it goes on to say that “Behold, all things have become new!” In other words, the previous one is dead and now there’s a new one.  This is your radical, new creation identity.  You are literally a new type of being, a new species that never existed before.

κτίσις  ktisis  creature  –  creation, original formation, order, ordinance

Knowledge of this new identity is fundamental to living a victorious Christian life. You are no longer the person who was under the dominion of sin. That person was crucified and died with Christ. The person living now is a new being, infused with the new life of Christ, empowered by the Spirit, and made righteous. When you truly grasp this, you stop identifying with your past failures and previously ungovernable behaviours.

This doesn’t mean you won’t face temptations, but it means your new nature now has the power to not succumb to them.  Man is a spirit being, which has a soul and lives in a body; and now the Word says its your spirit that is “…recreated in righteousness and true holiness”(Ephesians 4:18) But your soul which is your mind, will and emotions – those do not automatically change, even though your spirit is perfectly new. Thats the new creation, that spirit that lives inside your body.  So you may feel, or look or think the same after you receive Jesus Christ but thats because the new creation miracle is not in your mind, and your feelings or your body. You now have Christ’s perfect nature in your spirit man. And so Ephesians 4:23  says “…be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24  And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”   Which means renew and align your thinking and feelings; that is your soul – mind, will and emotions to the new creation man that is in your spirit. And it says this new creation is created “...after God” which means your spirit is now created after the righteousness likeness of God, my goodness!! Walk in the consciousness of your newness today.  You are who the Word of God says that you are. Reject the lies that try to pull you back into old patterns of thinking or behavior. You are a new creation, perfectly positioned to live a life that glorifies God, free from the power of sin and sin consciousness!

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, I thank You that I am in Christ, a new creature! Old things have passed away, and all things have become new in me.  I thank You for this new life that I now live as the new creation You’ve made me, empowered by Your Spirit and Your righteousness, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Speak The Word
I am a new creation in Christ! Old things are passed away; the old is dead and buried and all things are become new! I live in my new identity, a new creation in Christ Jesus living in glory and victory everyday!

The Accuser Cast Down & Conquered

Study The Word

Revelation 12:9-11
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.  10  And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.

The accuser of the brethren has been cast down from heaven and he has also been conquered, and no longer has access to the courts of God to bring accusations against you, glory to God! Considering that the devil is one that doesn’t like to be exposed; this portion of scripture is a striking reveal.  Another thing is, I like the tenses that are used in our opening scripture, they are very telling: firstly it says “the great dragon WAS cast out”, and another striking thing about the context is that it distinguishes between “the world” and what the devil did to them and; “the brethren” and how they were accused of him and what the brethren did to him.  So, the world was deceived by him, but the brethren were not deceived by him so they overcame him. “Hey, I have overcome the devil!” Again notice the tenses; “overcame”. So I am not trying to overcome him, or praying to overcome him or fasting to overcome him – I already “overcame him, by the blood of Lamb”. This is the past tense nature of true prophecy, where God’s Word reveals to you the end. See when you study the scripture you’ll discover that true prophecy doesn’t communicate in the future tense. We will deal with that another time.

καταβάλλω  kataballō  cast down –  to throw down a thing without caring where it falls, to scatter down, thrust down, cast down

Another thing that I want to bring to your notice is the word translated ”overcame”; that word is – nikao which means conquered.  Never ever be afraid of the devil! He is a cast out, a cast down, he is a cast away! These are the descriptions given to him by the word of God, haha! And you need to call him by what the word of God calls him.  A cast away, a cast down, a cast out!  That’s why Jesus said, “them that believe…in my name they shall cast out devils!” (Mark 16:17).
Because he is a cast out, a cast away and a cast down. The word of God also says he is a conquered one, but if you are not a part of the brethren, the Word of God says that he is deceiving you already, you are already under his deception. You have to remember that prior to Jesus Christ going to heaven with His own blood to sit on the throne, Satan had access (Job 1:6 – 10) to the throne of God but not anymore because Jesus Christ came and he was cast down. This happened when Jesus went into heaven with His own blood and sprinkled it on the throne of God – the Mercy Seat. And since that day, Satan can’t go with any accusation there because that blood of the Lamb is the only voice that is permitted to be heard in the courts of God in heaven.

νικάω  nikaō  conquer  –  carry off the victory, come off victorious, victorious over, to win the case, to subdue, conquer, prevail, get the victory

Satan’s accusations cannot be heard, and are not permitted to be audible in heaven before God’s throne anymore; only the blood of Jesus Christ speaks of things pertaining to man and God in the courts of heaven.  The throne of God is now the Mercy Seat.  The devil can’t bring any accusations there anymore, thank you Lord Jesus!

The accuser was cast down into the earth, and now he accuses the brethren in the earth.  And when he comes to the brethren to accuse them what’s his fate – conquered!  This means that condemnation is primarily the voice of your conscience, and the source of accusation is the voice of the accuser in the earth.  It is not the voice of God that condemns or accuses.  And what does the Bible say about dealing with the condemnation from your conscience and these accusations from the accuser? It says both are neutralized by the blood of Jesus Christ. Hebrews 9:14 says “…how much more shall the blood of Christ cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God”.  The blood of Christ conquers the condemnation in your conscience and conquers the accusation from the accuser.
‘Blood of the Lamb consciousness’ paralyses Satan’s accusations and sin consciousness. This is also what makes the communion a powerful supernatural sacrament, filled with the power of God. The communion builds in you a blood of Jesus Christ consciousness.  It is one of the weapons of our warfare (2 Corinthians 10:4 -5); and it accomplishes so many things in the spirit realm at the same time as you participate in it.  And one of those things is that it conquers the accusations of Satan and casts down the imaginations of condemnation.  Take the communion regularly, daily if you can, as often as possible, start today. Especially when you’re facing these kinds of pressures.
Always remember that the voice of condemnation is not coming from heaven – it’s coming from the accuser who operates in the earth; and you as a child of God overcame him already.

Pray The Word
Father, I thank You that the accuser has been cast down and has no access to Your throne to bring accusations because of the blood of Jesus Christ. I refuse to entertain the voice of the accuser from today.  Thank You Heavenly Father, for the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus Christ; may it purge my conscience from dead works and self condemnation. Thank You Father, that only the testimony of the blood of Jesus Christ speaks me concerning me in heaven and in the earth. I live by the testimony of the blood of the Lamb and what it has accomplished for me, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Speak The Word
Only the blood of Jesus speaks concerning me in heaven and in the earth. Every sentence of accusation against me in the spirit or in the earth is cancelled today by the blood of the Lamb of God that is seated upon the Throne, in the name of Jesus Christ! I live free from condemnation, I live free from accusation because of the blood of Jesus Christ.

The Sceptre Of Righteousness

Study The Word

Hebrews 1:8
But to the Son He says; “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. 9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness. Therefore, God, Your God has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions.

As you grow in your relationship and knowledge of God, also in the things of God and you start to become more acquainted with your maturing in Christ you will start to discover a pattern of things about your life. Things will clearly start to go in a particular direction that you can now see if you’re attentive. Your life no longer just goes in the natural process of human existence from cradle to the grave.

There now is a defined meaning and purpose beyond yourself, the things that you like, or want to achieve, even your little beautiful family.  The Spirit of God begins to expose you and raise you for a life of impact, because He the Spirit of God is an impactful personality.  And the more you begin to walk and recognize Him in your life and in your growth as a child of God you’ll begin to see your life become a life of impact, not just existing and passing by.

One of the things the Spirit of God will begin to awaken in your spirit is the awakening of the divine attributes that the Lord Jesus Christ  brought us into through His death burial and resurrection that we now have at our disposal that makes life as a Christian exciting.  The biggest of them all is in “being made into the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus” and “the righteousness of God being deposited into our human spirit”.  This is the biggest miracle of Christianity.  Then you will know for yourself that this thing about Jesus Christ is not about religion, its about righteousness, purpose, power and impact.  There is a purpose about your life, there is power that is at work in you backed by His authority which effect changes according to the power of God; and then there is impact. Hey! I am impactful! I live a purposeful life! The power of God is upon my life! Yes! I live an impactful life. I feel it, I know it, I experience it, yes! What a life.

Looking at our opening scripture there are some things there, that when you know and understand your life stops being ordinary. Let’s  look into them as they are revealed in the opening scripture above.

It says, “A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom”

The scepter of righteousness: This is talking about a placing into the spiritual authority of righteousness – authority in this world and authority in the world of spirits; that means things visible and invisible.  There is a divine dominion, authority and rulership unleashed into your spirit. God’s righteousness is a spiritual authority. It’s beyond doing things right, it’s about expressing what is right and enforcing rightness with spiritual power and spiritual authority; and because it is His righteousness that means it is with His authority. That is an attribute of God’s righteousness that you receive as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Genesis chapter one is the perfect display of the scepter of His righteousness at work. It is a demonstration of His creative ability backed by His power and authority to create, restore and perfect even when things have gone out of order. So, with this at work in you and you being conscious of it, you begin to express a boldness to command the unfavourable things confronting your life that are in this world, and then also, sickness, demons, and spirits in the spiritual world and see them respond in favour to your demands.  It gives to you an authority and divine creative ability to command and recreate the direction of your life.  Stop watching life go by and get up, acquaint yourself with the Spirit of God in a living relationship with Him and take charge of the course of your life. The Spirit of God is the Supreme supplier of divine power, and divine energy to effect changes. When you do this, life stops just happening to you.  You begin to make things happen. Not just by mere human effort but by effort backed by the power of the righteousness of God at work in your spirit.  You fall in love with the righteousness of God that is in you as you grow in it, and lawlessness becomes distasteful to you and you start to reign in this life because of the scepter of righteousness. Listen, there’s no amount of religion that can do this for you. This is the working of God.

Next up we have, “anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions”

The oil of gladness: hey, there is a joy that comes upon your life because of the gift of God’s righteousness in you.  Such that no matter what’s happening around you or in your life; what they did to you or said or what they didn’t do or did not say, whatever!  Your meditations of being the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus will always result in joy and laughter.  When you wake up and say, “Yes, it was my fault, I messed up, I know; but… but, I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus”.  You’ll discover depression can’t creep into your life and take root. What mental health? What is that to the child of God? Where? “The kingdom of God is not food and drink; but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” You will always be joyful, hopeful and excited about your life. Who and what is to depress who? You are the righteousness of God in Christ. There is joy! There is peace! Awaken to it. Why do I say these things? Firstly because it is what the Word says (pun intended), and secondly, I have been through a lot of these things and I have come to know that in all these things we are more than conquerors. You will come out on top. No matter what you’re currently facing. You are victorious. Just stand on the word of God no matter what happens.

Cheer Up!

Happy New Month To You!

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, Your Throne is forever O God. A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your Kingdom.  As the righteousness of God in Christ I boldly use the authority that is at my disposal over the course of my life, even over sickness, and the spiritual beings of hell. With Your love that is shed abroad in my heart, I am a lover of righteousness and hater of lawlessness. Thank You for filling my days with joy and laughter for You have anointed me with the oil of gladness more than my companions in the name Jesus Christ, Amen.

Speak The Word
I’m reigning in this life because of the scepter of righteousness that is work in and through me. I’m moving forward and upward; becoming greater and greater by the day. The love of God in me has made me a lover of righteousness and a hater of lawlessness, therefore my God has anointed me with the oil of gladness more than my companions.  The joy of the Lord is my strength.  And In all these things, I’m filled with joy and laughter; in all these things I’m more than a conqueror!
