Teach Us How To Pray 17: Being Offended At God & The Spirit Of Wisdom & Revelation In The Knowledge Of God

 

Prayer Points:

1. Prayer Of Worship & Thanksgiving:
Let’s spend time to acknowledge the Lord and honour Him. Let’s thank him for all the healing we have received in our souls this month of August.

Psalm 103:1- 4 KJV
Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all His benefits — who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion.

2. Offence against God
We thank the Lord for his mercies in our lives, we repent for taking offence
against the Lord regarding any trauma or tragedy that has taken place in our
lives and we repent for blaming Him. We pray for our eyes to be cleansed and
permanently open to always know the devices of the adversary.

Hebrews 4:16 KJV
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 9:14 KJV
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

3. Spirit of Wisdom & Revelation in the knowledge of Him
We Thank God, that from this time, God grants us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.

Ephesians 1:17 – 21
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.

4. Prayers of the Spirit
We thank God for the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

2 Corinthians 13:7;14
7 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates. For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.
14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.


Affirmations:

I am alive unto God in Christ Jesus. In Christ I live, in Christ I move, and in Christ I have my being. The love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit. My heart is full of love, my heart is full of joy and peace. I cut off and erase any negative emotions and any negative memories associated that are inconsistent with the life and nature of God in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I speak words of faith, love and kindness to all people. No corrupt communication comes from out of my mouth. I eject every thought and feeling of anger, disappointment, and any form or type of bitterness, offence, resentment or unforgiveness towards anyone from my soul. I cut off all negative emotions from my soul, and I cut off and erase any negative memories that are associated with these hurtful emotions from my soul in the name of Jesus Christ.

I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I love all people with Christs love that flows in and through me. I bless all people, with every spiritual blessing that I have in Christ Jesus. I forgive today every person who has ever wronged, disappointed, or persecuted, or hurt me. And I also forgive everyone that will ever disappoint, persecute, hurt or wrong me in the future just as God has forgiven me in Christ Jesus. Nothing shall be able to separate them from the love of God that flows in and through me from Christ Jesus our Lord.

The joy of the Lord is my strength, I am strengthened with great joy, overflowing and bubbling continually from my heart. Christ has filled my heart with laughter, and he causes me to laugh in the Holy Spirit always. No matter the circumstance, rivers of living laughter flow from my spirit by the Holy Ghost. I am always, and under all circumstances joying in God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
