Teach Us How To Pray 6: Identity & Our Ability In Christ

 

Prayer Points:
1. Prayer of Thanksgiving:
We will spend time to express our heartfelt thanksgiving unto the Lord for who he is and all of his wonders in our life.

Ephesians 5:19 – 20 NIV
Speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2. Our identity in Christ:
We thank God for who he made us to be in Christ. We recognise our identity in Christ and declare that we operate in it fully.

That the Gentiles should be joint heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ by the Gospel,

Romans 8:16 – 17 NIV
The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

3. Our ability in Christ:
We thank God that we are strengthened and fortified. We are spiritually energised with power in our spirits to do all we have been called to do.

4. Help, Strength and courage.
We thank God that we are strengthened and encouraged in our spirits, that we remain steadfast in the faith, we thank God that we are continuously making progress.

I Affirm that I am called to a higher life of permanent prosperity and Jesus Christ brought me into this life by grace through faith.I affirm that God is at work in me! I’ve become the centre of God’s operation in the earth.I am a joint – heir with Christ and the fullness of the Godhead dwells in me, I am joined to the Lord and I am one spirit with him. I am the embodiment of wisdom and grace. My mind is not limited or defeated by the circumstances of life because it’s inundated with the light of Gods word.As i meditate on the word, I think thoughts of peace, joy, victory, prosperity, and good health, therefore I transcend the ordinary life and manifest the supernatural in every situation. My life is hidden in Christ today and always!
