- According to scripture [Genesis 2:18], a wife is a helper. If you are unwilling to provide assistance, including financial support, do not enter into marriage.
- Marriage does not change anyone. It reveals and amplifies existing traits. Do not enter marriage with the intention of changing your partner.
- Intimacy is built through communication, especially through difficult conversations.
- Work through your past traumas, weaknesses, and insecurities, so you don’t inflict harm on those closest to you, especially your spouse.
