The Purpose & Power Of Writing: Writing Is Creativity Expressed

Study The Word

John 1:1 -3
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  2  The same was in the beginning with God.  3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

We’ve established that the “Word” in John 1:1 is logos, which verse 45 revealed to be the Written Word. Now, let’s connect this profound truth to the very act of creation described in Genesis. John 1:3 says, “All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made.” When you meticulously study this expression, “all things were made by the Word,” it’s talking about the Written Word. What this is powerfully telling you is that all things were created and designed by God through writing.

God didn’t just speak things into existence without a pre-conceived, detailed plan; He designed the world in writing first. There was a design, an imagining process, a comprehensive blueprint of what things should be like, and that detailed design was meticulously expressed in writing. The act of creation itself, the bringing forth of existence, involved this writing. When God’s infinite imagination, His boundless creative ability, began to express what He wanted to do in writing, that’s precisely how the Word in John chapter one made all things – it was designed and brought forth into existence in writing first before it was spoken. He had the perfect image in His mind of what the world must be like, but then He had to express that image outwardly, in a tangible form; that is when the principle of writing got employed.  Logos is God’s creative ability and His imaginative designs expressed in written form.  This ability is what makes God – God; it’s what puts Him in the class where He can create something out of nothing.

And as a child of God, being born again you have been brought into that God-class of beings where you with the same ability can create something out of nothing.  They said “look at your life, it’s nothing, look at you, you’re nothing;” don’t worry, don’t cry. Just go behind closed doors and begin to design, begin to create, writing, redesigning your life; recreating your life in writing from nothing into something, from nothing into glory and beauty!  Put it to work; and when you’re done begin to walk up and down in your room reading it out to yourself, rehearse it to yourself; that’s the next level of the principle as we saw from Exodus 17:14 where God said Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua:”.  So you start rehearsing your new life to yourself in your room; rehearse your new self to yourself.  Redesign your new self, recreate and rewrite the new story of your life! Glory to God!  When you’ve started this don’t stop; continue with it. Stick with it everyday.

שׂים שׂוּם  śûm śı̂ym rehearse  –  rehearse, place upon, set upon, appoint to

They said “there’s no job, or they said there’s no client’s”; everywhere you go and everywhere you tune in they say “there’s shortage”.  Stop repeating that and rehearsing shortage and lack in your life.  Reject it and say “not for me!”  And then you go to your diary where you redesigned your life and you begin to rehearse your glorious life and you read it out “I’m gainfully employed for my profession with complete job satisfaction”; or “customers and new clients are locating my business for gainful contracts! I only experience abundance, I only experience prosperity in my life, I only experience abundance and success all the days of my life!”
Make sure you put as much details as possible so that you can begin to see the pictures of your new life.  Add images to help your mind create the vision of this new life if you need to.  But make sure that everyday you take the time to have a rehearsal.

Man has been using this principle unawares; but the majority of people have never been educated on the purpose and power of it as an instrument of curating their lives to what they want it to be.  The most of what they’ve been taught is that the purpose of writing is for literacy; until you discover the purpose and power of it from God.  Think about it, anything around you in the physical world right now, the chair you’re sitting on, the building you’re in, the clothes you’re wearing, your favorite car, even the phone or computer you’re using — none of it just appeared spontaneously.  Before any of it could exist physically, someone had to draw the design, meticulously detailing every curve, every joint, every measurement in writing. Every column for a building, every structural element, had to be on a comprehensive plan in writing. Without that written plan, that blueprint, the building would simply not be there. The jacket you’re wearing was first conceived in someone’s mind, but to bring it into existence, to make it a physical garment, they had to write the design: its length, its color, the specific materials, the precise zip placement, and all the necessary measurements.

Everything you interact with in this world, everything that is tangible, came through this precise process. Nothing came out of just nothing. It was designed in writing first before it came into existence.  This is God’s divine pattern for creation, a foundational spiritual law, and it’s how you, created in His image and likeness, can activate your own creative ability and bring your plans, visions and dreams of a better life into reality. This principle works without fail, and anyone who puts it to work will get a result. Don’t wait, start today.

Pray The Word
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the powerful and profound principle of creative design through writing, mirroring Your own method of creation. I pray for the discipline, inspiration, and meticulous attention to detail to translate my thoughts, visions, and desires into written plans, just as You designed the entire world through the written Word. Let my writing be a spiritual act of co-creation with You in Jesus name, amen.

Speak The Word
I declare that I am a designer of my life, aligning myself with God’s creative pattern! I will diligently write down my visions, my plans, and my desires, bringing what is in my mind into physical manifestation. My written words activate my creative ability and channel divine power, and I will see my dreams, aspirations, and God-given purposes come into tangible, glorious existence!
